The Kitchen offers a full set of utensils, dishes, and appliances including dishwasher, full size oven, beverage fridge, toaster oven, regular #4 filter style coffee maker, and more. There is a gas grill and outdoor fire pit as well if the weather permits. This is a wonderful place to visit in Summer as the elevation is around 4000 feet and the temperatures are typically very comfortable especially at nights, although the house does have air conditioning for those hotter days too. There are numerous wineries and breweries and other sites to see in the area that are a lot of fun to tour and taste, so come stay at this wonderful retreat, I know you will enjoy it!

The stay was great. Wouldn't recommend for toddler's though. The stairs to the loft were not toddler friendly. Very clean and check in and check out was a breeze.
My family (2 adults, 5 children) had a wonderful time at the Pine Ridge Road cabin. It was a home away from home. I appreciated all the hooks in the cabin to hang things on. -we were there to ski so all the bibs, jackets, sweaters, and hats went on hooks each day. We watched the Olympics at night via the Roku stick which was provided and enjoyed homemade meals a couple of times, we tried to light a fire but the wood never really caught so we abandoned that idea. We were comfy and cozy the whole time! It was nice there wasn't a giant rule book to read through upon arrival - that aspect made our stay relaxing. I would recommend this place to friends.
We had a wonderful stay at Pine Ridge retreat. The home had all the essentials you would need for your stay. The home was clean with comfortable furniture, beds and cute decor. Location was easy to get to as well a simple check in. We enjoyed coming home each day from hiking to see many deer in the neighborhood. We also enjoyed the fireplace on the cooler nights.
Recovery from the Fall 2024 storm will be a challenge for Beech Mountain, but when it happens, this amazing cabin is a perfect launching spot for summer hiking! The Wild Iris Trail is just below the property and the woods overlooking that trail from the large deck are beautiful. Deer visit several times a day, and bear also stop by for visits - stealthy creatures who are there more often than you know.
Grassy Gap Creek Trail, and the new Owl Prowl meanders off Grassy Gap (designed for mountain bikes) are close by. Until the trails are fully restored, the gravel roads to the trails are also good hikes.
Our plan to stay from early July 2024 through late October was cut short, but we’ll be back.
And Beech Mountain will be back. Come see it! And stay in this sweet A-frame, right on Pine Ridge with a very private deck.
Bonus: the residents nearby are very helpful, welcoming and supportive. Thank-you to all the community.
