About this property
3-bedroom Mountain-Stream Townhome in Banner Elk
Escape to a peaceful mountain stream hideaway in Banner Elk! This 3BR/3 Full BA townhome sleeps 7 and offers direct access to Grandfather Mountain’s Profile Trail. Just 5 minutes from Sugar Mountain, and very close to area attractions: Boone, Blowing Rock, Beech Mountain, Mast General Store, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville, and more!
Whether you’re looking for adventure in the great outdoors, or simply a quiet space to unwind, this centrally located townhome offers the best of both worlds.
First Floor Bedroom: Queen bed, flat screen TV, direct access to large deck, and full bath right by bedroom door.
2nd Floor Bedrooms: Primary with king bed and en suite bath, desk/workspace with monitor, flat screen TV, private balcony overlooking the mountain stream.
3rd bedroom has queen bed and twin bed, and there’s a full bath in hallway.
A spacious deck off first floor has a large table and plenty of comfortable seating, plus a gas grill.
A full-size washer and dryer, well-stocked kitchen, coffee bar, board games, puzzles, Xbox, smart TVs, and the sights and sounds of an idyllic mountain stream right off the back deck are sure to help you make your own mountain memories in the North Carolina high country.
You’ll arrive to a convenient “starter pack” of essentials—like toilet paper, paper towels, and detergent. For longer stays, you may wish to replenish these items as needed.
The fireplace in the primary bedroom is decorative only and covered with a screen—it is not functional. During the warmer months (May–September), a portable A/C unit and a window unit are provided to help keep the space comfortable.

About the host
Hosted by Dena Kovach
Hi, I’m Dena! I’m a North Carolina native, married to the love of my life for 22 years, and mom to three grown boys. I love everything about the High Country — the mountain air, the craft breweries, the small-town kindness, and the chance to slow down and make memories. Hosting gives me the joy of sharing this beautiful corner of the world with others.
