Brand new 1 bedroom top of the line home located right on Copano Bay. Upgraded appliances including gas range, wine cooler, ice machine and more. Upscale bedding, and furnishings. The most amazing view of any home in Rockport! Private screened in porch with a sectional sofa and plenty room to get comfortable and watch the most amazing sunsets in South Texas. There is also a private pier for fishing and just sitting and having great conversation. Streaming TV only.

The property is nice, it has a good view and it is in a good location. However it is more of a family camp with multiple cabins than a stand alone private home as the listing implied when I booked it. If others have booked the other cabins on the property you will not have much privacy. It seems the owners sometimes list the largest water front cabin ("The Cape") in combination with the cabin nearest it or with all the several other cabins on the property for large groups which makes more sense. Additionally the check-in check-out policy for this property is not customer friendly. Check-in, is at 4:00PM and check-out is at 10:00AM!The Cape cabin/house is actually two independent spaces separated by a screened porch, the bedroom and one bathroom is on one side of the porch and the kitchen, living room and one bathroom is on the other. This allows the living room and screened in porch to function as a community space for the several other cabins that are on the property in the event they are rented together. The kitchen/living and screened porch spaces are completely visible to all others on the property, there are no curtains or anything. Access to the property community pier is via a walking path that goes right past the kitchen/living space, folks waking by can see inside clearly through huge windows with no coverings. The community pier is very narrow and the fishing space is small, not suitable for multiple groups of strangers

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This has been the very very best rental in Rockport we have ever had. Everything was perfect. It would’ve been better had the sun come out it was cold and wet the whole time we were there but that’s OK. We enjoyed it. We needed time to relax, and we did exactly that Everything was laid out so wonderful. Everything so clean. Everything in exact place parking for our truck and boat was so easy. Your on site manager was so gracious to help us with our every question we had for him. We shared pictures to our family and everyone commented on how beautiful the place was. For sure we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and we’ll see you soon.

Great views but.......

Views are amazing, but the house is split. One side is the kitchen and living space. Lots of windows for amazing views but with no blinds or anything so there is no privacy at all. Furniture in the living area is patio furniture and very uncomfortable. To get the the bedroom you have to go out the door thru the screened in patio to the bedroom. The concept is great but the lack of privacy and being next to the pier where other guests walk by and see everything going on in the house. Unfortunately we had a few issues with the AC and the gate code not working to let us on the property along with other guests. Our AC issue was never resolved we had to go buy fans to keep us cool enough to sleep at night. The property manager did send someone out but he said he could not find anything wrong and that it would hopefully cool down. We called a second time and were told they would call them back out but we never heard back and no one showed up. We waited up until after midnight for someone to show up. I left another message and still got no call back. We made the best of the situation because we had no where else to go due to everything being booked because of the holiday weekend. Hopefully they address these issues.

The open views are stunning. We also got to enjoy the top deck for one night as we were so busy. .
