Recharge for a week at this elegant & relaxing Maine cottage, with an amazing view & access to Long Lake seen from the living room, dining room, kitchen and front porch.

One of the most beautiful settings in the area
You'll enjoy only a 150 feet walk across the lawn to the lake to access your clean sand-based swimming area and rock wall with a wooden dock where you can wave to the people on the River Queen as they go by.

The Naples lake region is one of the most sought after areas of Maine, for its beauty and family fun. Long Lake is the only one that enjoys the Songo River Queen (The replica of the famed Mississippi River Paddle Wheelers) twice a day.

The home showcases lots of charm with pine board walls, hardwood floors and two wood stoves. There is plenty of living area for separate gatherings for drinks, a movie, games, and dinner, giving everyone space and a view of their own. The well-stocked kitchen is large and bright making it enjoyable to cook for eating in, or you may choose to go out to any of the great restaurants in the area.

Located on a quiet, family vacation home street looking out towards the lake over well kept lawn. It is centrally located and only 1.6 miles from the center of town of Naples, and only minutes from Harrison, Bridgeton, and Windham. You’ll be close to night-time entertainment at Rick’s Cafe, Breys Brew Pub, River Queen tours, and restaurants. There are many antique shops scattered around the area and it is only 40 min. to waterfalls, North Conway, NH, Freeport, or Portland, ME for a day outing. Activity information is provided for your convenience.

You’ll enjoy the adirondak chairs around the beautiful outdoor spaces. A canoe and kayak (and life vests) all available for your use.

This is a cottage to unplug from the hustle and bustle of our stressful lives, and to reconnect with yourself, and family…peace & quiet…relaxation!

Our family loved our stay! The waterfront was beautiful and clean. We swam every day and enjoyed watching the boats go by. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Perfect Spot!! Great Area!! Great Time!!

Wonderful & just what we needed

Kathy is an amazing host. The house was nicely decorated and allowed for each of us to have space if we needed some pt. Sitting on the dock became our favorite spot for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. We will definitely be back again.

Perfect lake house for our end of summer vacation

We loved everything about our stay at this house!! The lake was clean shallow area good for the kids to swim in. We enjoyed using the kayak and the canoe. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Close to grocery store/ restaurants. 1 hr from Portland, ME. About 1hr from White Mountains in NH. Property owner was friendly and attentive.

A Slice of Heaven!

This cottage is truly a slice of heaven. If you are looking for a place in a beautiful and peaceful environment with easy water access and great hosts, this is the place for you! The owners are highly responsive and the cottage has everything you need for a stressless vacation. The living area is large and there is a beautiful porch on front where you can sit and knit or read or simply stare at the water. Can not say enough good things about this cottage and location. Great Location for Family Vacation

This property is set back a bit from the water, which is nice if you have small children and don't want them wandering into the lake unaccompanied. The kitchen was wonderful - everything we needed for cooking meals for 5 nightly since we are still avoiding restaurants due to COVID. There's a grocery store just down the street. The boats were in good condition, and the lake was clear and warm. Hiking in the area isn't as impressive as Acadia or Mt. Washington, but there are plenty of great views and sunsets. We experienced an issue with the hot water heater, but communication with the owners was easy, and they were responsive.

Perfect Summer Getaway!

From start to finish we had a fabulous and perfect summer getaway! The description of this location says quiet and pristine -- it was all that and more! What a gem this family is sharing with the rest of the world. You could feel the stress melt away as soon as you turned onto the dirt road! The location couldn't be more perfect and pictures just don't do it justice. The lake was a two minute walk away so we spent the week swimming, floating and fishing off the beautiful new dock. We felt like it was our home away from home with everything you could ask for! From a full kitchen, a spacious bathroom to plenty of space for everyone to enjoy! We already miss waking up to the beautiful view and the sound of the loons! and we can't wait to make a return visit. Thank you also to our gracious hosts who were so quick to answer any questions and who made sure everything was just right during our stay!

Great Lake vacation!

Kathy & Scott are amazing hosts. Their property was beautiful & peaceful but just minutes away from many fun activities. We swam in the crystal clear waters of Long Lake daily. Took a great kayak ride - a canoe & kayak were provided by our hosts. We enjoyed watching the loons swim by our dock & really enjoyed lying on the dock at night stargazing. - we saw quite a few shooting stars! We ate at many great restaurants just minutes away & my husband & daughter took a seaplane ride over Long Lake. We drove to the outlets in Kittery one day. We rented ATV’s in Gorham NH - not too far away & We drove to Old Orchard Beach one day. We still had plenty of time to relax and take in the absolute beauty of the area. What a great vacation & an awesome place to stay. And thank you to Kathy & Scott for being such friendly & attentive hosts.

Great Family Vacation

Great location on a beautiful lake. Nice cozy lake house feel. Kathy & Scott were responsive to any questions we had & offered suggestions on things to do locally. Lovely Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful vacation in Naples. The property was perfect for our two young kids, quiet, near the water and a large area for them to run. The sunsets and sunrises were amazing through the living room window. Kathy we easy to communicate with when we had questions and even drew and sent a map to help figure out my morning run. We had a great time and would stay here again. I bet it’s nice in the fall and winter as well!

House in Naples Maine

The house was delightful. Close to Naples and driving distance to Portland, Freeport, and Fryeburg. Each day we enjoyed something new - kayaking on Long Lake, shopping in Freeport and canoeing down the Saco River. Thank you for a great stay!

We love this place because of the spectacular view, it's just absolutely breathtaking! I find myself exhaling as we drive towards it every time.

This well maintained place is for someone looking for a spacious and quiet place with a gorgeous view (in any season) and lovely lakeside to relax in as a couple, or a family. The house is right on the other side of the street from the lake, with 150 feet of green lawn for your bare feet to lake access.

The garage houses a canoe and kayaks for your use!

What makes this property unique

My favorite thing to do here is sit in front of the living room window with my first cup of coffee, or a glass of wine in the evenings. It's incredibly relaxing. Your view in the house over a road, a green lawn to your lake right-of-way.

Long Lake is just beautiful! You’ll enjoy the Songo River Queen II, a 93 ft. replica of the famed Mississippi River Paddle Wheelers, which you can wave at twice a day as it passes by, or buy a ticket and ride along! The kids love this.

It is conveniently located 1.6 miles from Naples center for daily ice cream trips, dining, or just a walk around watching a beautiful sunset!
There is also plenty to do in the area for a half or full day excursion like antiquing, great food and more. I have many brochures available for you when you arrive.
