A lovely location with views over the port and the surrounding countryside. The set-up of the main terrace which is accessed from the kitchen or sitting room and looks onto the pool, is really conducive to a relaxing and refreshing time. You can eat under the jasmine 'gazebo' too, which is delightful. The gardens are well thought out, planted and maintained. There is a fabulous pomegranate tree and lots of beautiful cacti. We enjoyed a visiting tortoise, some nearby goats and gorgeous bats over the pool at dusk. It's an easy drive into Port Cheli, with lots of great places to eat, or have a drink and all you need such as two pharmacies, lovely bakeries, souvenir shops and also some chi-chi boutiques for pretty jewellery and gifts. You can also walk into the town quite easily if you don't mind the heat and the uphill on the way back! The owner, Costis was very helpful and all questions were quickly answered. There was also a local contact who spoke French and English and was equally helpful and attentive. We were three generations of family and all had a fab time. I would certainly recommend this place for a relaxing and interesting base to explore the nearby islands and this part of mainland Greece. I would love to go back!
