Best Ever Beach House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a terrific week with our family at the rental house. Highlights include:-The house was well stocked.-Being on the canal while being able to walk to the ocean was great.-Having beautiful water views from all sides of the house was lovely.-The spacious lawn and swimming pool were special.-The rental agency was very courteous and helpful.-The location is peaceful and quiet.

Property NEEDS better upkeep!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this house or where it’s located. It’s really cute and was so close to the beach. My terrible rating comes from the cleanliness/lack of up keep. EVERYTHING was dusty! The baseboards, end tables, dressers. Drink rings and dog hair were left on glass end tables and coffee table from previous tenants. I found piles of dust and objects from other tenants under the beds when we made sure we had all of our possessions when leaving. My son and I both have allergies and ended up with a gross cough, he had so much congestion he had an ear infection shortly after our stay. We had spent the extra money for this property over the others because we really wanted the pool and outdoor space. We barely utilized the outdoors because spiders and webs were literally everywhere. Every single chair, deck rung, the grill, the outdoor shower. Covered in spiders/webs. My husband even tried to hose some of it away.. they all just came back. They need pest control to come out regularly. I know this sounds dramatic but I live in the country I get that spiders exist outside but this was excessive. Last 2 things that happened.. ants were in the kitchen despite cleaning up dishes immediately and wiping down counters. The microwave fell on me. Thankfully I caught it but it was mounted so terribly it fell right out. I called right away and the maintenance guys that came out were quick and very kind.
