This cute cottage was perfect for our first night after getting married at a nearby wedding venue at diamond V Farms. Had everything we needed the hot tub was awesome extremely clean and we are very grateful that our mother-in-law booked up for us
My wife and I spent 2 nights for our anniversary - this cabin was a perfect spot! Quiet and secluded- beautiful scenery. Hosts were incredibly helpful and extremely fast in responding questions! Highly recommend!
This was our fourth year celebrating our anniversary at Lazy Creek Cabin and I’m already looking forward to our fifth. Such a lovely place! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Absolutely beautiful. Secluded for privacy and a beautiful view but close enough to go sightseeing in any direction. The cabin was clean, comfortable and all amenities needed.
We had a great weekend stay. This is pretty much exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. Cell service worked perfectly, so we were able to stay in contact when necessary and could play music as desired, but the space made it feel like we were all alone in the world. It was simple and sweet. Great stay and great hosts!
John Denver was right, western Virginia is "Almost Heaven" and I can't imagine a better place to have a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise than from the rockers on the porch of this beautiful cabin. The property was exactly as described, even down to seeing whitetail deer in the meadow my first evening here. Having a full kitchen with full-size appliances, linens, and towels provided made my trip so easy. From the fireplace, the furniture, and the metalwork fixtures, you can tell that this property was really designed to provide the most peaceful experience possible. I absolutely loved my stay and have already recommended it to friends.
Perfect getaway for me and my husband. I love the privacy and hot tub. The cabin is tastefully decorated and has everything you could need or want. I especially love the fuzzy warm blankets to snuggle up in on a cool day. Next time we visit it will be longer
An absolute gem! The drive from Lazy Creek Cabin to Liberty University was between 35 & 50 minutes, depending on traffic. The setting is a perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the world. Everything you need is here and then some! Cell service was great, we didn’t miss not having WiFi. The hot tub was amazing! Thank you for such an amazing stay.

Hosted by Jim and Jane Campbell
We are Jim and Jane Campbell and we have two grown sons. The cabin is located on our farm which is a working farm with Angus cattle. We will sell you a great steak or hamburger that was grass fed right here on our farm. We enjoy being hospitable and will make your stay as relaxing as possible.
Why they chose this property
We decided to build a log cabin on our property because our view is so wonderful and we wanted to be able to share it.
What makes this property unique
We are 1/2 mile off Rt. 460 and close to many restuarants, places to shop, the Peaks of Otter, and Smith Mountain Lake. We have a pond very close to the cabin and there are many places to hike and bike. We love it here on the farm, because the views off the front porch and the many wildlife you see, put us in awe of our Lord Jesus Christ the creator of it all!
