Lovely house. Very clean, two large king size bedrooms on first floor. Two smaller bedrooms on second floor and one bedroom in the loft space which is a bit challenging to get to - spiral staircase. Great location for Tanglewood, exploring Lenox and nearby towns. The house has a beautiful yard, hot tub and sauna. Owners were very responsive and available to answer questions.

The house was perfect for our large extended family who gathered for the James Taylor concert at Tanglewood. Courtney was responsive and the house had everything we needed! We did all of our meals in and the kitchen was well appointed. The guys loved the hot tub and the grounds were beautiful. We may have missed this in the listing, but be aware that one of the bedrooms is in a loft which can only be reached by a narrow spiral staircase. We would definitely rebook this home!

Our stay at La Petite Porte Jaune was spectacular. Nine of us (ranging in age from 60-76) shared the house for three nights and four days, and every person was effusive in their praise of the house/deck/yard. The bedrooms (and beds) were comfortable; the shared spaces were large and inviting (the great room—wow!), including the deck, where we ate dinner together every night and soaked in the hot tub before bed. We really enjoyed the kitchen and the attached sitting area: lots of room to drink coffee or cocktails, snack before dinner, and chat up those who were on meal prep duty. This is the kind of house where you weren't in a hurry to leave each day. But leave we did! We spent time at the Saturday farmer's market in Great Barrington (wonderful), at the coffee shop and bookstore in West Stockbridge (also wonderful), at the public beach on Queechy Lake (thank you, Courtney, for providing passes to the beach; we used 2 of them). People loved (and used) the bathrobes provided to guests and the beach towels. It is just such a beautifully appointed home, with lots of light and visual appeal. We were happy from the moment we walked in and sad when our long weekend was over. Thatnk you, Courtney, for making our gathering so special.
