Our stay was very nice and relaxing. The cabin was lovely and well stocked. The owner responded promptly each time I had a questions prior to renting and while we were there.
We had a nice relaxing weekend. Everything was as it was presented. Loved having little trails through the woods that were on the property and the hot tub was great.
We stayed here for a quick weekend get-a-way. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and sitting around the fire pit. The cabin was adorable and the location was very peaceful. Loved it!
Wonderful, relaxing time spent at this property. Had everything we needed. Close to everything we wanted to do. Wish we would have had time to use the fire pit or hot tub. Host responded quickly to our questions.
This stay was just what my family needed! Nestled in its own little space is the lovely home. We had everything we needed and no issues finding anything!! Everything was labeled and ready for us when we got there!
The property was well maintained and very secluded which made for a relaxing and peaceful weekend! The only thing I would change is a better pan to cook with or different sizes and the grill definitely needed some TLC considering it was mostly rusted out but did serve it's purpose while there!

Overall a decent experience. My wife and i have been on many cabin adventures over the years this one was more trailer than cabin. Hot tub was nice but theres a motion sensor right above it making it hard to relax with a bright light above you. This place was about as far out as you could get while it was close to parks it was a decent drive to find groceries and or restaurants. The check in and out was very easy and we where allowed to check in 3 hours early on Friday. The inside of the place was decent but not clean the couch had a very bad odor and the bathroom was not very "fat guy" friendly im 300 lbs and couldn't shower in the house. Overall im not dissatisfied but i feel like it was a bit over priced for the experience.
The dogs love this place, have stayed several times in the past, and even know the property boundaries. It was farewell trip for both as they are aging with health issues and we don't expect them to be with next year. The hot tub is a great new addition, but we did not use it. We had some busy days outdoors at Lake Hope and Vinton Exp Forest.
The place is exactly as pictures show. Very cozy and comfortable. Location is centered around so many different hiking trails. We loved that! Had turkey walking through the property a couple of times. Nice place
Our wife and I went to Ohio University and remembered some of the fun things the Hocking area had to offer. We wanted to bring our boys somewhere that we could recharge and explore nature a little more than we can at home. This place was the perfect choice! We all loved the simple and homey feel of our cabin, along with the hot tub and campfire area. Our boys especially loved the hot tub!
We also enjoyed checking out Old Man's Cave and taking a canoe trip down the river. Both activities were not to far away, allowing for us to enjoy a full day of exploring, but also giving us enough time to relax in the evening when we got back.
Our host Luke did an excellent job with communication, and instructions to check in and out were very clear too. The cabin was very clean and offered everything we needed to spend our time there without worry! If your looking for a good place to get away, especially with your family, this is a definite must!
