Tuscan villa vacation rental for 13 persons

Podere Felceto is a spacious, traditional, stone Tuscan villa originally built as a monastery in the 15th century and located 2.5 Km from Panzano. It boasts 57 acres of land with extensive woods and meadows to explore, a beautiful organic oil and wine farm and a frontage along the Pesa stream. This is a quiet and intimate location, providing an idyllic setting from which to enjoy the Chianti countryside. Our 6 x 12 m salt water swimming pool is available for the enjoyment of all of our guests. (If you would like exclusive use of the pool, please enquire.)Podere Felceto is located in a natural valley in the heart of Chianti. From respect for nature, everything that the Del Mastio family grows is organic. These include the Extravirgin olive oil and wine that can be tasted and purchased at the house.

The country-style furniture and fittings are comfortable inside and outside, and offer many special spots where you can be on your own.

There is an ecological swimming pool (12 x 6 m.) with salt water, billiard room and ping-pong table to enjoy every moment of your holiday.

To welcome their guests, the owners offer a rich Breakfast Basket full of Italian delicacies for you relaxing Sunday morning awakening and a sample bottle of organic wine and extravirgin olive oil.

The owners' main goal is to offer to their guests everything necessary to make their holiday a pleasure. Podere Felceto provides the ambience to make your vacation in the Chianti comfortable and unforgettable.

Very nice house in amazing landscape

The house if very nice - old property very well refurbished, large rooms, nice furniture, remains fresh despite the heat wave. Outstanding view on the countryside from the terrace and swimming pool. Very well located. The description should have been more precise : we were expecting to have the swimming pool in exclusivity, but it was not the case. This is the only disappointing element.

Magnifique maison, sejour de rêve

6 familles, 21 amis, nous avons loué la totalité de ce mini village : la villa, le fienile et le cottage. Au bout des 2,6 km de piste dans les champs de vignes et d'oliviers se trouve un endroit magique. Décoration du meilleur goût, cuisine très bien équipée, la terrasse immense nous a permis de dîner tous ensemble. Jardin fleuri et piscine d'eau de mer. Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain, le luxe ! Idéalement située pour partir la journee visiter Sienne et Florence.

Podere Felceto is a family business, born from the dream of owner Roberto Del Mastio and wish to return to his roots. Roberto has lived his childhood in the Chianti countryside, near Tavarnelle, in his grandparents’ house, where he lived experiences still alive in his own memories.

After a long stay in Florence and after several trips abroad to work, he heard the call and the desire to return to live in the countryside of his childhood. The encounter with wife Jussara, of Brazilian origin, who was studying in Florence to become an art critic, has given birth, in addition to two daughters, Yara and Sara, to the project of a farm based on a shared goal.
After years of research Roberto and Jussara, in 1998, did finally found the ideal place to grow their family and realize their dream. Throughout the years Podere Felceto was restructured with care to retain the atmosphere and the typical characteristics of Tuscan farmhouses, without neglecting the need for a comfortable stay.
