Modern amenities with old beach house charm.

You are considering 'Simply 123' for your visit to the relaxing and beautiful South Carolina coast. If you are looking for a clean home with charm to relax and make memories this is the perfect place. This home has been in our family since 1968. The home was completely renovated in 2005 but we managed to keep some of the old charming features such as the exposed beam ceilings. Our family has 5 generations of memories in this home. 'Simply 123' holds many memories for our guests that continue to come year after year. 85% of our bookings are repeat guests. We limit the number of weeks we book each year to reduce wear and tear on the home. If this is the type of beach home you are looking for, we feel sure you will find it to be a place to relax, and have fun with family and friends. We hope to hear from you and to be able to add you to our repeat guest list.

A cleaning service wipes hard surfaces (door knobs, cabinet knobs, etc.) with disinfecting cleaners and sprays soft surfaces (sofa, chairs, shower curtains, etc.) with disinfectants between renters. Bed linens are washed by cleaners not at a off site location. Hand soap is provided for each sink to maintain hand washing safety during your stay.

Garden City is located between Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet. 'The Kirby's' is on a side street with little through traffic and a spacious grassed yard. The home is located one block off oceanfront . Life guard stand is located at our beach access. Not only does this provide extra safety while in the ocean, you can rent beach umbrellas and chairs from them for a day or a week. Our home is on a block tucked between the ocean and the inlet! You can quickly get to Murrells Inlet famous seafood restaurants, Olde Time Pottery and Pawley's Island shopping, Wild Water and Wheels water park, local golfing, and family entertainment. The house located 1/2 mile from the King Fisher Pier and 3/4 mile from Surfside Pier.

The home sleeps 10 people comfortably in beds. The elevated single level home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and an outdoor hot/cold shower with dressing area. The blue bedroom has two full beds and one top twin bunk bed. This room is well suited for family with children. The green bedroom has one king bed and has on-suite bathroom access. The pink bedroom has a full and twin bed. All bedrooms have dressers and closet space. Hall/Green bedroom on suite bath has double sink vanity and shower/ tub unit. Second bath has single sink vanity and shower/tub unit. Hallway laundry has full capacity dryer, washer, iron and table top ironing board that works perfectly on top of washer and dryer for touching up wrinkled clothes. A portable crib/play pen and high chair are provided.

During off season, home is available for monthly and nightly rentals.

Perfect spot

The house was very spacious, located in a great spot, close to the beach and had plenty of room for 2 vehicles and a boat. The owners were very nice and helpful with the whole process and communicated with us often. (4 min from Krispy kreme 👍)

Family Beach Vacay

My family and another family stayed here for 1 week. The house has a vintage beach cottage feel with a great screen in porch, plenty of space for kids to play underneath the house, close walking access to the beach, open concept living and dinning and plenty to do in a surrounding. We would highly recommend this for families who would like to have entertaining beach days and quiet beach nights! The owner has an abundance of knowledge of the area and is great at sharing that with future guests.

Amazing stay!!!

My husband and I brought our teenage daughter, adult son, youngest son and mother in law for a sporadic vacation getaway! The house was perfect! Location was perfect! Everything was as advertised! The Kirby’s went above and beyond making sure we had a great and relaxing stay! I cant thank them enough for letting us book last minute! We can’t wait to go back!! Because we definitely will be back to the Kirby’s!

Great location and short walk to beach. Had some issues with cleanliness at check-in (seems like the cleaning company was rushing to get done since they were still in the house after check-in) and let the owner know. She was extremely attentive and rectified the situation! Would definitely rent again!

This property had everything our family needed during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and glassware. There was also a nice selection of family games that we thoroughly enjoyed. Very nice spacious accommodations as our family of eight did not feel crowded at all. The location is perfect as we felt very safe and it only took a few minutes to walk to the beach. A very enjoyable experience from beginning to end.

Fantastic place to stay!

Family beach trip of 10 people (ages 5, 6, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 43, 47, & 65). House was very spacious and comfortable. My kiddos loved that it was a short walk to the beach and on rainy days they rode their hoverboards under the spacious deck while the adults sat on the screened in porch! House was FULLY stocked and I was grateful as we arrived late at night coming from WV. House was clean and comfy for a large family for vacation time. We had a fabulous week here and didn't want to come home. Can't wait till next year. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way with this one!

Our beach trip

We had a blast at 123 rainbow drive 🌈. The house had plenty of space for our kids to play and hang out. The house is really close to the beach to where walking is not a problem. The owner was very helpful and made the process stress free. I would 100% recommend to anyone.

Beautiful vacation home

Welcoming warm home

We had a great time at the beach with family from Colorado, Tennessee, Georgia and S.C. The house was very comfortable and welcoming. The only thing we brought were towels and washcloths.... everything else was provided including toilet paper!! Ms Kirby thought of everything- thank you for great stay!

What a wonder beach house. Linda is such a wonderful lady, you will feel like you have known her all your life. We had a wonderful week ( a day of Hurricane Arthur). The house is by far the cleanest and fully stocked with everything you need for a week at the beach. My Grandkids loved playing and sitting under the house. We hope to rent this house again.

Nice beach house

This house is just as described in the listing. It is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. Everything was very child friendly, once we figured out how to open and close the shades. We had several kids that enjoyed the underneath for riding scooters, trikes, etc. The screen porch is a great relaxing place and the walk to the beach is short. Overall, this is the best house I have ever stayed in on vacation. The owner seems very nice and I would definitely rent from her again.

This was by far the best vacation rental experience I have ever been through!! The house was wonderful! Cleanest place I have ever stayed!! This house is equipped with everything you need to make your stay feel like "home" for a week. The owner has made sure you have everything you need to have a relaxing non-stressful vacation. Plenty of room for your family. Nice size yard for kids to play in! The owner is one of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege to talk to and I can't wait to talk to her again next year to book this house again!! You will NOT regret this rental!!

Great Garden City beach house

What a great place to stay! Great location-short walk to the beach and minutes away from the pier and our favorite restaurant- Conch Cafe. Very clean and comfortable too. Everything you would need in the kitchen. We had 8 people(2 adults and 6 teenagers) and had plenty of room. The updates were very nice. Hope we can go back soon! We enjoyed our stay!

The place was very nice and clean ,was close to everything we needed.The owner was very nice and helpful. She seemed so nice that someday I would like to meet her in person! We would like to go there again next year.We did have alot of rain while we were there but we made the best of it. Nice neighborhood!!
