I stayed here with my partner and our kiddos. We all had such an amazing time. The cabin was perfect and there was plenty of space for the kids to spread out and have a blast. We loved it.

We are so glad you had such an amazing time here! Have an amazing summer and safe travels :)
Property was great . Bedrooms and kitchen were a bit smaller than we expected . The screened in porch connecting the 2 cabins was fantastic and bigger than we expected

We are so glad to hear this! Have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you again :)
The property is lovely and well maintained. The fire pit and fire chimney along with the outdoor picnic table, chairs and hammocks made for a wonderful place to hang out. The screened in porch is large and roomy. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed except good measuring spoons. Not a big deal! We did a lot of hiking, swimming and reading. The cabin is very close to Oquossoc and not too far from Rangeley so well located. It’s a little closer to the main road than I expected but that did not affect the awesome time we had there.

Perfect Vacation
Loon Camps was the perfect place for our family. It had everything we needed to enjoy time on the lake and the kiddos had plenty of games to play. The camp was well stocked with blankets when we had a couple of cold days. We'll definitely be back again or find another rental with the same agency.

What a beautiful camp !! We loved having the large screened porch to relax and offered additional living space. The cabin was clean, cozy and the kitchen was well stocked for the many meals we enjoyed. So quaint with all the extras.

Relaxation on the Water's Edge
What a wonderful little gem this cabin was!
It was absolutely perfect! The center porch was a phenomenal space regardless of the weather. It was fun to play games in when it was raining and perfect to watch the loons after a busy day!
Everything was spotless, the kitchen had everything we could possible need, beds were all very comfortable, plenty of toys and games for the kids, the outdoor equipment was all perfect. The location was easy to find and not far from things to do.
We will definitely be back!

Great stay at Loon Camps at Waters Edge
Great camp in a beautiful spot on Rangeley Lake. The camp is well appointed with everything you'd expect to make for a great vacation.
We hated to leave!
Also, Morton & Furbish was great. They were professional, courteous and very responsive, especially when we locked ourselves out of camp early one morning! They were there in no time to let us back in.
We highly recommend Loon Camps at Waters Edge and Morton & Furbish!

My family has enjoyed many homes on Rangeley Lake over the past 25 years! We have stayed in many of Rangeley Lakes grand houses when we numbered 10+. I am now coming to Rangeley with a single guest for a week! Loon Camps is far in from #17, so the traffic, noise especially logging truck noise does not interfere with the quiet and calm we all treasure on vacation! The beds are very comfortable, the ventilation is wonderful because of window placement and the lovely large screen porch is divine! I l have never encountered a more well furnished kitchen and only wish I had this incredibly equipped kitchen when I was cooking for 10+.

It's all about the lake
On the lake? You can watch the water lap at the shore from inside the boat-like living room with its large floor to ceiling windows, so it almost feels like you're “in”, or at least “on” the lake.
This amazing confabulation of two cabins joined by a screehouse breezeway offers a multitude of locations to enjoy the immediateness of the lake being just steps away. You can sit in the master BR and watch it from there. Rock yourself to sleep on the breezeway without fear of bug bites, or watch it while eating dinner at the dining table, or while cooking in the overly well appointed kitchen. If you're more hardy, you can sit above the lake on the deck, down by the fire pit a foot away from the lake, or out on the swivel bench on the generously proportioned dock.
Sunrises, moonrises, sunsets, and your own personal planetarium are viewable from said dock. As is the invigorating sun waters of the world's best alpine swimming pool. The loons are so close that you may think their ominously haunting calls are coming from inside the house.
The beds are incredibly comfortable and the cabins are as Maine as it gets, all setting the stage for the best vacation you could wish for - rain or shine, hot or cold, alone, with another, or an entire family. This IS as good as it gets, you'll thank your good fortune that you found it.
It was so nice to be steps from the water and have access to a canoe, kayak and SUP. The nice dock, swimming pad and large screened in porch were all great features as well.
Stay was great! Beautiful location and camp was well equipped.

Loon camp at waters edge
Cute little camps with screen porch and kitchen to share. It comes packed with activities for everyone! We called the office about a light bulb that burnt out and an empty tank for the grill. They were very polite and quick to respond. The walk in beach area and dock were perfect for young kids! The cabin is close to town and shopping. Our family had a great time!
Truly inviting property just steps from the shore. There's a fantastic screened-in porch, a wonderful sunroom to hang out or eat in. The only drawback to this property is that if you are a walker it is not conducive to being able to really leave the property as it does abut route 17. That said, otherwise it is totally fabulous.

Loon Camps at Waters Edge is a beautiful camp on Rangeley Lake. It was a bit on the chilly side, but with the view that we had it didn't matter. Cabins are nicely done, having the two separate cabins give everyone the own space if needed.
We enjoyed this lakeside home so much!! The home has all you need! There is a beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The water is magic with an easy walk in and deck. Love the loons at night!
The location feels remote but just 5-10 minutes to town. We hiked Angel falls(beautiful) and part of AT to Piaza rock (more challenging but worth it). I would recommend this spot and hope to return!
We had a great time staying here. canoeing on the lake, doing a little fishing. Wifi worked well, and direct TV. We had everything we needed! Loons on the lake are the icing on the cake. Highly recommend.

Our week at Loon Camps
This is an interesting camp. There are two cabins connected by a large screened porch which contained a seating /TV/eating area. The primary cabin had 2 bedrooms, bathroom, seating/eating area and kitchen while the other cabin had 2 sleeping areas and a bathroom. The camp allowed the 2 families to be together while allowing us to have our own space. The camp was well equipped, very nice and the eating area comfortably sat all 8 of us for meals. The water had a nice sandy area for the grandchildren to play in and the dock was well kept.
