Great all around!

The condo was very clean and the views were amazing! Chris and his property manager Jacquie were very responsive with any questions! The staff in the building were friendly and helpful as well! Would definitely stay in this Condo again! Thank you for a great place to stay!

Perfect location to access beach and shops. Only gripe I will warn about is parking guard. I was given given citation for improper display of permit. I had my permit hung from mirror but was partially covered due to sunscreen.

Miramar Girls Trip

Excellent location! Mix up on the check in process, but owner immediately fixed the issue. Every bed was a nightmare to sleep on. Both bunk mattresses were super flat, and the bed in the couch was 1/2 broken and springs poking everywhere. Also the comforter in the master was not clean. Plenty of towels which was nice! And the pools were a nice place to relax after the long days at the beach. Over all a good stay. Would stay here again with an upgrade to the sleeping arrangements.

Great value

Location was great and condo was clean and comfortable. Good value for the price point. Previous reviews are mostly accurate. Not sure what is going on with the headboard but it’s still doing something weird. And please know if you plan a cook very much you will probably want to bring/buy your skillets, pans, cooking utensils etc. The ones there are in dire need of replacement. Overall great stay, walk to the beach was very doable. Like I said great value for money spent.

Beautiful Condo! Close to the beach and restaurants

My husband and I stayed for a week at this condo and loved it! The view was unbelievable and the condo itself was very nice. The kitchen was perfect with just about everything you need besides food. It was clean when we arrived and everything was ready to go for us as soon as we got there. The walk to the beach was about a five minute walk which was great because we didn't have to find a parking spot and it was walking distance to at least three nice places to eat or drink. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars was because the bed was just not comfortable. It really does need to be replaced and the sheets and blankets are not soft or comfortable either. I did not sleep very well during my stay because of it. I hope this issues gets resolved because it is such a nice place! I would book again if the bed was replaced for sure!

NOT a "luxury" Condo at all

After driving 12+ hours, our family checked in to this condo. The minute we walked in, we knew we had made a mistake renting it. It was dirty and had a musty smell. The walls were splattered with food, the counters were dirty, there was black mold on the vents, the bedding was not clean (glitter, food, and other stains/debris on the bunk beds, mattresses and pillows were stained), the furniture was damaged/stained and overall, the place was just not as described (it was described as a “luxury” condo). We immediately called the property owner, and told him that due to these conditions, we were unable to stay at his condo. He recommended that we call the property manager. He was shocked that his “second home” was not as expected, and offered to find another renter for 4 of the 7 days we had rented. The next morning, after staying in a hard to find, expensive hotel (it was the 4th of July weekend) we met with the property manager (we came in to her changing the master bedding), and gave her a full tour of the issues we had with this condo. She did not offer to clean the condo or do anything to help us in any way; instead she just said that the owner would be in touch. She picked up a few pieces of trash behind the couch, wiped up a small spill, and left. Although the owner did refund us for 4 of the 7 nights we reserved, we were still charged 4th of July rates for the three days we did not stay in this condo. It was very much a rip-off and we are so disappointed that our relaxing vacation at the beach was much more expensive than we anticipated and completely ruined. I cannot recommend this condo to anyone. It is not as it was described, and although the owner did refund us for a portion of the rental time, we still did not stay in this condo because of its filthy conditions. The listing for this condo was NOT accurate, and neither were the reviews. I did quite a bit of research and there was only one other negative review for this condo, and it was similar to mine. Since there was only one, I figured that it was just a fluke. Not the case. The property was NOT clean and NOT well-maintained. It was dirty and most, if not all furniture was damaged or stained. The owner did not provide good customer service. Although he refunded us for some of our stay, he should have refunded us for the entire stay because of the filthy conditions. I cannot recommend this condo to anyone.

Amazing view of awesome sunsets but condo sorely needs cleaning and painting

The view of the beach was amazing. We couldn't get enough of standing on the balcony watching the sunset. The condo was tastefully furnished, though a bit small. Biggest problem was how dirty it was overall. The walls have fingerprints & smears everywhere. When you reached for a light switch, it was so dirty it made you hesitate a second before touching it. The grass rug in the living room had an abundance of sand down in the fibers. The bathmat was horrendous & we ended up using a towel instead. The granite kitchen countertop was so greasy we had to go out & get cleaning supplies before using the kitchen. Another disappointment: there were no cleaning supplies in the condo. None. Also no other supplies. In all the other condos we've stayed in, prior guests had left necessities such as salt and pepper, plastic wrap, etc. behind and we used those and left behind other things for future guests. It is difficult to bring along or buy absolutely every kitchen need when you are staying only a week. Having them on hand is important. Back to the cleanliness, the tub did not drain well and no matter how quickly you showered you were ankle deep in dirty water before you finished. Very unpleasant. I notified the manager early in the week. Nothing was done. The day before we left he finally told me to notify the "front desk". Since we were leaving the next day I didn't bother. There was dried food on some of the dishes in the kitchen cabinets. There were only 4 forks. ? There is no dresser or chest in the bedroom so there is nowhere to put your clothes. Count on living out of your suitcase while there. There's a little set of wire drawers in the bathroom closet, but they're not suitable for holding your clothes. The towels are unbelievably rough/scratchy. Don't get a sunburn! I found the listing on VRBO & it showed one of the amenities was a community hot tub. A hot tub is a necessity to me when traveling due to fibromyalgia & arthritis. There was no hot tub. I checked the site again in the condo and yes, the hot tub was listed and I showed that to my husband. I contacted the manager...the mention of the hot tub disappeared & I was told that it had never been in the description. A hot tub was one of the criteria I was using to choose a condo. I would not have picked it if the hot tub hadn't been listed. Overall this could be a great condo if it were cleaned up and some changes were made.

Nice unit

We’ve stayed in Ariel Dunes 2 since it was built- the property doesn’t disappoint. This unit has beautiful views and is adequately appointed. Communication with booking management is excellent. The only two downsides are the master bed (which is very uncomfortable) and the dim lighting in the living room. Otherwise, we greatly enjoyed our stay!

The condo was a great location to everything in Miramar and the view was wonderful! The master bed and bunk beds were extremely firm which made for a rough week of sleep for both myself and my friend.

Great condo and location

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at this condo. It was an easy walk to a great beach, or just as easy to hop in the car and find a parking spot along the road. The location is close enough to downtown Destin that we didn't mind the drive. The condo itself is in a gated community which was nice. The condo pools are also really nice, especially the pool with the zero-depth entrance with seating along the entire pool and a fun waterfall feature. The fitness room was functional but nothing special. We didn't try the condo bar/restaurant until the last night but the food was actually really good! The room itself was very nice, the view is spectacular. But I want to note a few important items for families: 1) Highly recommend bringing a bed rail for the top bunk bed. I felt it was very dangerous without that. 2) Master bedroom does not lock 3) DVD player only works on the bedroom TV 4) Consider bringing a night light for the kids sleeping in the hallway bunk beds. 5) Silverware and dishes are provided but there are not very many so bring your own or plan on doing dishes after every meal. Finally, I highly recommend visiting the Henderson Beach State Park for their sand dune nature trail and the beach itself.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a short walk to the beach and the view is great! I would recommend to take your own pans for cooking as they do need to be updated. The Teflon is scratched completely from the pan as there are only metal spatulas and spoons to use. The shower was also very slick on the first use. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.!

Nice Property for the Price

Reservations and check in was very easy. The location and view was also nice. Property was nice, however just a little dated. Could definitely use spruced up and a few extra touches such as: door mat to help catch the sand, comfortable outdoor chairs are just a few. But for the price you can't really complain. Overall, it was a nice, decent place to spend a few days.

Clean but definitely needs updating and cookware. Closet space is not optimal as you share it with the vacuum and mop bucket, eww! We only had 2 concerns and the the manager was very prompt to handle the issues. She also said that the owner will be updating soon. Hopefully they will.

Overall the condo was very nice. The cable In the master did not work and the pots and pans definitely need upgrading. When we arrived there was sand all over the floor from the last group there. The headboard in the master was not connect to the bed so it banged the wall constantly till u finally moved it.
