After a long day in the wilderness relax on the deck in the back or on the second story porch and enjoy the mountain air. Then go to the first floor to create a wonderful meal in the tiled kitchen, eat at either the dining room or breakfast nook, then enjoy a movie in the living room. As the day winds down go upstairs and light a fire in the family room fireplace, them retire to one of the three bedrooms. Two have queen beds and direct access to the porch. The third is the master suite with a king bed and private tiled bath. You will be amazed at how quiet the area is. Wake up refreshed and travel to the local lakes or hiking area.
If you need to store large items, an oversized garage is available for snowmobiles or your boating equipment. Washer/Dryer, microwave, TV, and games are all ready to be used.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Raymond's beautiful home. The location is peaceful and the house is well stocked and comfortable. Raymond is an excellent host. We would definitely stay again!
We keep coming back year after year because of the location and the fact that it is one of the few places in the area that can handle a family our size. Looking forward to coming back again!
The Mountain house is huge, lots of room and the house is set up with everything you need. A very comfy house, we would stay here again when in the area.
Absolutely loved this property! The space is perfect to spend some quality time with your loved ones, and the girl scout cookies were a pleasant surprise. We would absolutely stay here again, hopefully for a longer stay next time!
This was such a peaceful and wonderful stay. Location is great, short jaunt up to bucks lake and just a little farther the other way to Quincy. We all really enjoyed being in the trees and hanging out on the back deck. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. For our larger group, it was nice to all be under the same roof and enjoy meals together. We spent the majority of our time at the lake, but enjoyed having a comfortable place to rest in the evenings. The owners are very friendly, inviting, and are super quick to respond to any questions or inquiries! We look forward to visiting again in the future!
Love staying here with our 5 kids. Short drive to the lake or Quincy. Lots of room for the kids and great kitchen to cook all the meals. Love the continuous hot water so everyone can get cleaned up after a day hiking or boating. Can’t beat morning coffee on the deck looking at the trees.
Location is remote, while still being accessible. Large, extremely well stocked/equipped home. Remember you are in the woods. Had a close encounter with a mountain lion there taking the dog out at 4:00 am! This is a great property for a very reasonable price. Have stayed there before and will again.
Raymond is a Fantastic host to work with. He really goes above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable staying in his home. Beautiful place and property, just down the road from scenic Buck’s Lake.

Why they chose this property
This house is my vacation house, but over the years I have noticed that the house sits empty more than it is used. This is a shame for such a beautiful house, and thought that others may enjoy the benefits that the area offers.
What makes this property unique
While in the Plumas County are definitely enjoy a trip up to the Lakes, each on offers different experiences. Buck's Lake is a larger lake that is easy to take boats to. If is usually warmer in the summer and has great spot so swim. Silver lake is small and the road to it is quite dusty, but if you like to lake kayak it is fun. Also the hiking around Silver Lake is visually beautiful.
