Great Location

We had a great week on AMI! The location is excellent- easy walk to the beach! If you have a beach wagon I would bring it as they only have 1 that has the big wheels the other wagon has the smaller wheels and it's harder to push in sand. Only a problem if there is someone else staying in the other unit and they take the good wagon. :)

Nice place, good location

We enjoyed our stay! The apartment/house was nice and spacious, and was located in a good spot on the island. 2 minute walk across the street to the beach, and a outdoor cafe/grill. A free trolly picks up there, and will take you north or south on the island. The Waterfront Restaurant, Sandbar, and Beach House are three great spots to eat.

Holmes Beach Rental

Nice place to stay. Convenient location, easy access to beach. On a VERY busy street! If you are looking to relax at home it would not be the place due to the street noise. Otherwise it is a lovely condo! Host is very responsive to needs. Central location to restaurants and shopping.

Great location

The host was very responsive and helpful. Location is just as states. The road is busy, but you don’t really hear it in the condo or bedrooms. Its also a slow speed road so , that helps. The beach is right across the street at a public parking lot. The trolly is also there! It was a nice spacious place for our vacation. If you plan on doing cooking … take inventory of supplies in the rental first, before heading to the store….. you will need spices, seasonings, salt , pepper, basic cooking supplies and containers…. The description of the rental is all accurate. I would recommend staying here.

Location with a wow factor!!

We couldn’t have picked a better location to stay on Anna Maria. The vaulted ceilings and huge windows with deep porch make for a great place to have a glass of wine or cook a great meal (although you may want to pack a decent sauté pan). The beach restaurant across the street serves up nicer food one would expect from a beach place. I’m talking about you fish tacos!! Yum! And don’t forget to take one of the plethora of the plastic logo’d goblets the house has to the beach with you to score 50% of your beer!! I can’t imagine anyone would be upset with this house and the service offered. Happy traveling!!!!

Great vacation week

We had a great time. Location is great if you have older children. The street is VERY busy so would be hard with littles. The beach is visible from the window upstairs and we really enjoyed having coffee looking at the beach. We got up early a few mornings to look for shells before the tide changed and it was easy to walk over. Manatee Beach is great for grabbing food quickly and enjoying fun at the beach. There was ALOT of people there so again, it would be hard with littles if you worry they run off. Owners were responsive and very nice. My only issue would be that if I would have planned to cook more, it would have been difficult with the pans. TONS of plates and glasses, but very little to actually cooking meals in. The place is in desperate need for more skillets. It was also lovely to be near Publix to restock when needed. We had a golf cart delivered so we were able to get around for supplies and fun easily.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. I thought I would just try to answer a few questions I initially had about the property on my review in case others had the same questions. There was a washer and dryer located in the master between the bedroom and on suite bathroom. The unit is part of a duplex that sits on top of another unit, so both can see the water. This unit is on the top floor, this was not a problem for us, but if you have trouble with stairs just know there are a few sets of steps you have to walk up each time. There is a public beach access right across the street, a bit more crowded because of that, but we enjoyed having the amenities that came with it such as restrooms and a bar/place to get food. Plenty of beach towels, which is always very nice. The unit itself was very spacious, the only recommendation I would have is that the owners need to update their beach chairs. Since we flew in, we used their beach equipment and most of it was very rusty and in need of being replaced. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was nice and clean. Lots of condiments in the kitchen including coffee. Plenty of beach towels. Laundry detergent was nice. Communication with host was excellent. Only negatives are that the street in front is hard to cross because of complete nonstop traffic all day. And a keyless entry would be nice since you have to use 2 separate keys to enter and exit each time you come or go. Just very minor inconveniences. Great sunset views from the balcony. Thankyou.

Excellent location directly across from the beach, and it is nice that a wagon and umbrellas are provided. We used the balcony in the mornings and at night, some beautiful ocean views. Had an issue with the AC and owner was very responsive. Unit is spacious and close to everything (restaurants, shopping, groceries, beach). Only cons: kitchen utensils (such as pots/pans and spatulas/other smaller kitchen items) could use an upgrade, as could the bathrooms; AC unit is new but seems to be too small to keep up with the large floor plan on very hot days. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay here!

Excellent Location!

What a great week of fun, sun and memories! The location of this house is within a quick walk to the beach. It is on the main road which is busy but wasn’t an issue for us. House is well stocked, very clean, roomy and the view from the deck is amazing! Location is center of the island making trips north or south quick. Ice cream shop, grill, bar and live music nightly across from the house at the beach. Excellent host communication. I would book here again!

House is a great spot, just know there are a lot of stairs and street is very busy. Communication was excellent with the Manager of the property. House is well stocked and great beach chairs, umbrella and wagon.

Beautiful week on the Gulf

Perfect accommodation for our family of four. Spacious living area and bedrooms. Location is very busy, but it worked out well for us. Our teenage sons had some places nearby to explore. Grocery and several places to eat within walking distance. Beautiful views of sunsets over the gulf. Would definitely stay here again.

Holmes Beach Condo

This was such a nice condo, really spacious, great location across from the beach. We really enjoyed being able to walk across for breakfast in the am at the beachside cafe and music each evening at sunset. We had everything we needed inside the condo as well, including W/D, well stocked kitchen and beach items. Close to every kind of restaurant you could want too! Thanks for a great stay!

Great Location

Being right across from manatee beach was so nice. Wagons and 4 chairs plus an umbrella are provided for both units. The bed was very comfortable. We came at a very busy time and some of the trolleys took over an hour to show, they usually come 20 min I think. Wish I would’ve rented a golf cart instead of a rental car to get around, just a more fun island vibe. The unit was very clean and host responded quickly.

Location is Everything!

This place has all you will need for your visit Including home and beach supplies! Location is fantastic. No need for a vehicle. Beach is across the street. Trolly (free) is also right across street and will get you anywhere you need to get to on the island. Host is very attentive, as well. Beautiful views of the Gulf!!
