Welcome to Holiday Sun, a brand new oceanside home in Rodanthe with construction set to be completed in May!

Offering 4 comfortable bedrooms and just a short walk (approximately 0.2 miles) to the beach, located at the end of the street, Holiday Sun is the perfect Hatteras Island vacation retreat for your family!

Inside, 2 full baths and all 4 bedrooms can be found on the lower level, including 3 queen bedrooms and a bedroom with a full over full bunk. Upstairs on the top level, the living area, dining area, and kitchen can be found, as well as a convenient powder room.

Rinse off the sand from long days at the beach in the convenient outdoor shower, before heading to the hot tub to relax.

Enjoy world-class fishing at the Rodanthe Pier, just 0.6 miles away.

Don't forget the family dog, as Holiday Sun is pet-friendly! There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.

Holiday Sun includes a credit for $245 in beach gear rentals from our partners at VayK Life. Stay between April 3rd and October 18th, 2026 (7-night minimum), and use your beach gear credit for items such as bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, paddleboards, and more!

Both the rental property and the renting experience were great. The house is modern, clean, and well stocked. The living space is large and comfortable (good for hanging out on the rainy days) and the house is a short walk to the beach. You can see the sound and the ocean from the top deck. Locals told me Sun Realty was a good company, and they were right. Easy checking in and out, and a user friendly portal to manage the details of the rental.
