KIDS OVER 3 YRS ALLOWED (can't edit the other details)
SHARE LIVING SPACE WITH OWNERS - this the cheap price!

WE DO NOT PROVIDE MEALS. (Not BnB). Coffee and tea available.

Gotta love animals - horse, 2 dogs, goat, cat and chickens.
Five minutes from Stratford. 20 minutes from Hawera. 30 minutes from beautiful Opunake beach. Hollard Gardens, Dawson Falls and mountain approximately 15 minutes away.

Property is fully fenced and gated (remote).
Nights are silent (no traffic noise etc) - enjoy the stars!!
You must love animals - our dogs are boisterous and very friendly.

We booked thinking it was separate from the main house (like a sleep-out), but it turned out to be a room in the owners’ house. Kristen was very pleasant but it wasn’t what we wanted so we didn’t stay.

Country Stay

The description of the accommodation was accurate. I was not under any illusions and it fitted my needs. I was grateful to be able to bring my dogs. Sharing bathroom/toilet with owners was a little disconcerting, to find a middle of the night toilet stop meant I had to flush the toilet before I used it.

Our property is listed as "under renovation" so is priced accordingly. The lounge area is like a building site. The kitchen amd bathroom are NEW. The bedroom is tidy amd bed very comfortable. Please, if you are wanting pristine, then $60 per night is not your budget. (This is less than the cost of a bunk cabin.) It is also good manners to inform a host that you are leaving.
