About the host
Hosted by Kerri Walsh

Being an host has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. I love opening up my space to travelers from all over the world and giving them a comfortable, welcoming place to stay.
One of the best parts is getting to meet so many different people. Every guest has their own story, and I’ve learned so much just through conversations and shared moments. It’s a great way to connect with others, and those interactions often leave a lasting impression.
I also enjoy the little touches that make someone’s stay memorable—whether it’s sharing my favorite local spots, leaving a personalized note, or making sure the place is sparkling clean and cozy. Creating that kind of experience brings me a lot of joy.
Hosting keeps me engaged, organized, and constantly thinking about how to improve. It’s more than just a side gig—it’s a way to share what I love about my city, my space, and hospitality in general.

What makes this property unique
There are plenty of cabins in the mountains—but very few offer the kind of raw, peaceful beauty you’ll find here. Nestled deep in the Colorado woods, with the crystal-clear stream from Mt. Evans flowing right outside your front door, this property offers a rare connection to nature that goes beyond just a great view.
Imagine waking up to the sound of rushing water and spending your evenings by a crackling fire while the stars come out over the mountains. This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to slow down, breathe deep, and truly feel the wilderness around you.
What really sets this cabin apart:
Front-row seat to Mt. Evans’ natural stream – no noise—just the sound of water and wind through the trees.
Secluded, yet accessible – far enough for true peace, close enough for adventure.
Thoughtful touches – cozy interiors, local guidebooks, outdoor spaces designed for rest and reconnection.
Authentic mountain experience – not a cookie-cutter rental, but a unique home that reflects the beauty of its surroundings.
This is more than just a getaway—it's a retreat, an experience, and a place you’ll want to return to again and again.
