The views of the Pitons and Soufrière are gorgeous from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed. We enjoyed the open concept house. While important areas are private, it gives an inviting place to spend time with friends or family or lounge in the open area and take in the views. It’s a little tricky to get there due to the nature of the roads. We had a little problem with a standard SUV but a 4x4 should have no problem. Walking distance to Treetop restaurant which was our favorite restaurant on the island. Also close to beaches and scenic destinations. Would highly recommend staying here. Don’t expect a resort, but I would take this over a resort any day.
This was by far the most unique stay that we had on our St. Lucia trip out of the three places that we rented. The view from the deck cannot be beat! This was the first time that we stayed in a place that had an open concept plan and we loved it. But with this in mind, you will encounter some bugs. The place next-door had karaoke at night. The shower pressure was amazing. Denise was a wonderful host! Overall, the experience was worth it!

Disliked: Communication
I booked through expedia and the confirmation after the resveration did not have adequate phine number or directions. I tried to call and was not able to reach the location. This was at a very important time to be able to immediately reach the property due to the cancellation of flights during the attack of Venezuala. Since I could not reach them to confirm the property or the location, I found another place quickly. I cancelled the reservation and was charged the full amount. In trying to receive a credit back, I called expedia and explained that I could not reach the property to confirm the reservation, they also tried to call the number and was not able to reach the property. Only after a day were they able to send me a message saying that I should call the property manager at which she says I never called her. It turns out that the property is a VRBO property listed also on Expedia and the information from Expedia's confirmation was not valid. The property manager kept talking over me and accused me of yelling at her, which I did not. She would not let me finish my sentences and kept saying that she was lucky that she picked up the call before her working hours. I decided to file an insurance claim for the amount since the facts and the photos of my situation were not what she was interested in. Instead she wanted me to praise the fact she picked up the phone before her working hours. My job was to make my children and family safe in this time of crisis.

The view from this property can’t be beat! It’s an absolutely gorgeous view of the Pitons, Sulphur springs, jungle, town & cove. The open layout is very cool & the bedrooms are comfortable. You are high enough up to escape the mosquitoes & get a nice breeze. Very spacious. WiFi & tv worked without issue. I highly recommend the Treetop Restaurant up the hill. The roads are rough but we were able to easily get around in our rental. The driveway is very steep so we parked at the top and walked down to the house. The host was very kind & responsive to any questions or needs that we had. While on the plane to St. Lucia we found out that our rental car had been canceled. The host helped me secure a transport from the airport to the rental that we were staying in before this one. I am very thankful for her kindness & responsiveness to our emergency that was not associated with her property.
Overall rating of 2.5/5; the big positives were 1. The property manager Denise Nelson: very responsive and did her best to correct the various issues detailed below in the negatives section 2. The beautiful views of the Pitons. 3. The nicely furnished deck to sit snd enjoy the beautiful viewsThese positives were negated by many shortcomings though:1. The house was not ready for us, even though we arrived much later thsn our original scheduled time due to our flight delay. The kitchen area was not clean (counter, utensils etc), the bathrooms had no shampoo, conditioner, or soap, some of the bath towels had yellow stains, 2. There is no air conditioning or heating in the house and with temperatures reaching in the upper 80’s it got really hot and stuffy everywhere, specially in the bedrooms and bathrooms.3. The place was rampant with mosquitoes (and other bugs), and lizards and not having A/C led us to keep the doors to our bedrooms open at various times leading to these creatures getting in there. Needless to say, it was not a pleasant experience. 4. Access to the property is a little painful. The walk from the parking area to the unit requires walking up or down a steep and dark and long slope and made it quite painful if you have luggage. 5. The house requires a lot of sprucing up, some of the furniture looks old and need upgrading, lot of the utensils also could be replaced, one toilet seat needs replacement6. No dishwasher, so utensils have to be hand washed

Hi Neeraj,
It was an absolute pleasure hosting you guys. I am so sorry the property was not ready for you as expected as the housekeeping team only forgot to put in shampoo , conditioner and bodywash. However, within one hour , we had the team to deliver those items as you were very well pleased. :) ...The property amenities does state that there is NO AC units as we are on a mountain and it is cool. You made a special request for 6 comforters and I provided you with this so this may be the reason why you were hot. Also we are in the tropics so lizards are expected as it does not harm anyone. Our team assisted you with the suitcases to the property but the walk is not that bad lolol. You broke the toilet seat and we replaced it immediately. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best :)
Piton view, good location for Soufriere activities, open-air living, so you are sharing with nature.
First: Denise was great! Communication was excellent, she got us in at Tree Tops a fantastic restaurant walking distance from the villa and also help arrange airport transportation.Second: The view of the Pitons and Soufriere is special. We enjoyed the view in all different conditions and lighting. That said, we were a bit disappointed in the place itself. We knew it was open to the environment and expected to deal with various critters, but the bugs got us at night when trying to cook and we really couldn’t relax. Bats did laps around the living areas, ants on counters and tables, roosters crowed at 3 am on a couple days. To us, it was more like a stay at summer camp than living in a villa. The space seemed in need of some care/repair/maintenance. We felt the photos made it look a little better than reality. It’s stuff that’s probably normal when a space is open to the elements, but maybe we were hoping for more.It was great having access to washer/dryer on site. Water pressure was good. Beds OK. Plenty of parking. You could have a great time here, just know what you’re getting.
