What a sweet little two bed, two bath cottage! Charmingly decorated with loving little touches to make our stay convenient and enjoyable. Dori, is a great hostess who has thought of all the details and is so easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again. Handy to downtown.
A Cottage decorated with elegance and charm! Dori had everything we needed for a family vacation. Comfortable and relaxing. This was a special family time to visit great grandmother, before her passing. It was wonderful!
My daughter’s family and I came to Phoenix to enjoy Thanksgiving with my son-in-law’s family. I chose this location because it was super cute and close to the local family. We were able to cook for ourselves and the holiday and had plenty of space to enjoy each other. Dori was super responsive and a great host.
Loved staying in this cute little house with a friend. We had everything we needed and Dori was super responsive. It’s fairly close to a busy road, so if you’re used to a really quiet neighborhood at night, bring your ear plugs and a sleep mask.
This is my first time using VRBO. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the property in Phoenix. It was conveniently close to the venue for my uncle's birthday. The home was comfortable and inviting, feeling like a true home, and warrants a spread in Architectural Digest. Dori was a very pleasant host and easy to reach.

Initially, the host was friendly. The resident electricity went out four times. On two occasions, the electric went out just because the wind was blowing. The place is outdated and in need of a modern upgrade. The host is a prejudice lady towards black people. She needs to understand cultural sensitivity of different races renting her property. The end of my stay, the host mentioned filling a claim on damages to her property because of being filthy and destroying her property. The host came to the residency in July, August and some of September of my stay. Not once, did I get a text or call about this matter; let alone, be allowed to continue to stay. Now I was leaving her residence, she wanted to make a profit in false accusation of me being filthy and destroying her property. I'm appalled of her lies and demeaning accusations.

I am saddened to hear your review. In the five years I have been doing short-term property rentals I have received ALL five star reviews and have NEVER had one negative comment out of the hundreds of stays I have hosted, so it is shocking.
We have monsoons here in Phoenix and I have no control when the electricity goes out. It went out for the entire neighborhood on that grid due to extreme wind. There is nothing I can do, that is the responsibility of the electric company that comes with the house, which I called and reported.
My cleaning crew are people of color and have no idea what color/race/ethnicity renters are when they report back to me the condition a place is left in. The cleaners reported back to me, “In all our years of cleaning we have never seen a place so dirty and destroyed…” and provided pictures of the damage.
In your defense, I do see you did the laundry and tried to get the stains out of the linens, but they are beyond hope.
