My home is located in the closest beach area of Carpinteria, on the corner of 3rd and Elm, 1 block up from the beach, and an equal distance to the main street of town (Linden). It’s the only home with this kind of privacy available to rent in this ideal location of Carpinteria. Enjoy time at the 'World's Safest Beach' and the town's great restaurants, breweries, wine bars and shopping, all without getting in your car. Our beach home offers a stay for a truly memorable time in Carpinteria! It only takes one visit to Casa Carpinteria before you'll anxiously await your next! Whether you are planning an adult weekend, a family vacation, or traveling for business, our beach home is the perfect place to call home during your time in Carpinteria. The dutch style front door opens to an inviting front porch and fenced front yard with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. The home also provides a large private enclosed backyard ~ perfect for adults, as well as, keeping young ones entertained off the beach. There is an outside shower for after playtime in the ocean and sand ;) A barbecue, picnic table, lounge chairs, patio furniture, a fire table and bistro lights provides an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoors off the beach. There's even a basketball hoop for a little shoot around. Many Carpinteria locals are familiar with our beach home and how well it is maintained and its great location within Carpinteria. Come see for yourself--but hurry, our home gets reserved quickly.

Carpenter is

Came for a wedding. Our other friends had rented condos down the street on the beach but loved our VRBO better! It was so nice everything you needed was there you can walk everywhere including one block from the beach nice quiet neighborhood. Great backyard would be great with kids!

Get away at the beach

Was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway at the beach. We had a great time and the host was very nice, even reached out to us before the stay to coordinate a few things! Would definitely recommend!

Proposal Weekend

Perfect spot for a carpinteria week rental!

Everything about this adorable house was seamless! The location is just right for beach time (you can run ur kids back to the bathroom or to grab a snack if needed to from playing on the sand all day), or going into town (grabbed my stroller and walked my 3 kids up to the candy shop and had zero complainers!), or there is a park, or in the early mornings I could go for a perfect 2-3mile trail run past the campground over looking the bluffs. The house itself had writhing we could possibly need, fresh clean linens, toys for the kids, beach stuff on the side of the house, a fire pit to host a little bday party for my sister, plenty of grassed yard for my kids to play on, excellent seating for dinner, spacious kitchen for cooking to save money on too much take out. I really do look forward to coming back! The host, Lisa, was also exceptionally kind and considerate and it was a pleasure working with her whenever questions or assistance would arise. Thank you Lisa!

Our favorite stay in Carp!

Our recent stay at this house in Carpinteria was a wonderful experience. The beautiful home is just a block away from the beach and Linden Ave, making it an easy walk to both while still being in a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated all the thoughtful details, from the beach chairs and umbrellas with a beach buggy to the outdoor shower stocked with shampoo, body wash, and tar removal ingredients. We enjoyed using the outdoor fire table, and my son and his friend loved playing basketball in the spacious backyard. The house was clean and well-kept, and we were blessed with beautiful weather. We can't wait to rebook!

Delightful stay

The beach house is not only extremely well equipped with comfy beds, plush bath towels, kitchen items, games, etc. but even a crib and feeding chair for our 9 month old grandson. The location is ideal - between beach and restaurants/shops. We walked everywhere. Best of all, I can't imagine another host as wonderful as Lisa! She responded to all messages immediately and was "over-the-top" accommodating,

Spring break 2024

We had a wonderful experience and Lisa was an amazing host! We were a block from the ocean and walking distance to the campground where my cousin was camping. The home was well equipped with the proper cookware and spices, plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, backyard games, and all the things. Would definitely recommend!!

Cozy, comfortable stay in Carpinteria

We enjoyed our stay at this cute house in Carpinteria. It was a bit tight for 4 adults and two kids, but everyone slept comfortably. The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and Lisa (the host) is very easy to communicate with. We loved the location and went almost everywhere on foot. We all wished we had stayed longer.

Beach Bliss

We found the property to be absolute beach perfection. It was very clean, had lovely beach decor, comfortable beds, clean bed linens and towels, wonderfully stocked kitchen, outdoor shower, and fire pit. It’s close proximity to the beach added to our enjoyment. Lisa was warm and generous with her kindness. This one is a gem located in lovely Carpinteria.

Peaceful getaway

The house is even nicer than the photos depict. Very clean. Comfy beds. We walked to the beach each night. The host was amazing and so easy to communicate with. Honestly probably one of the best hosts I’ve ever worked with. We’ll be back!!!

Great spot!

This is an awesome place to stay! It’s centrally located and the beach, shops, and restaurants were all walking distance. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Wonderful stay

Our family of 4 enjoyed this sweet home. Perfect location in town — just a few steps to the beach, short walk to Carps downtown, and a great running trail along the bluffs to the seal rookery. Carp still has that small beach town vibe but is also a short hop to Santa Barbara, which was great for us. The house was cozy & had all the amenities we needed. The owner was exceptionally communicative and helpful.

Perfection!!!

Communication was great right from the start. Lisa was incredibly accommodating in regard to schedule. The house was perfect; the photos were accurate. The backyard was a great place for my group of teens to hang. The kids were able to to explore the beach and Carpinteria on their own! We’re coming back! Thank you.

The best!

This was our first time in Carp and our first time using VRBO. Lisa was great from the beginning. She communicated openly and was very accommodating. This house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach was perfect for walking back and forth. Highly recommend this property. We will be staying again!

Hello ~ I grew up coming to Carpinteria from my hometown of Burbank. I LOVE this amazing town and am very grateful for all the memories! Although my kids (now adults) were born and raised in Ohio, they also love Carp!

Why they chose this property

The location is PERFECT ~ 1 block from the beach and 1 block to the main street of Carpinteria, Linden. It's very walkable, even with little ones. There's a park at one end of the street and a nature preserve at the other end.
The house is set up very well and the large, fenced in backyard is PERFECT too! (Large enough space for a basketball hoop, a firepit table, a barbeque, outdoor dining and a grass area for yard games.)

What makes this property unique

I've enjoyed hosting and sharing my home for 17 years ~ I am truly a host that has taken great pride in creating a space that allows my guests to have a wonderful stay and create special Carp memories of their own!
