Perfect Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Winona's Retreat. The cottage was close to town yet felt private and secluded. It was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook delicious meals and relax on the screened in porch. Thirteen acres of space to explore/hike or just relax by the tranquil creek. This is our 24th vacation rental in the last 22 months. Easily one of our favorites. Our stay was amazing. It is so peaceful here, with an abundance of wildlife - we truly did not want to leave. Overall, a perfect getaway—we cannot wait to stay here again!

Winona's Retreat

This is a very spacious place for the money. Plenty of room for entertaining. It is also very quiet, undisturbed by any outside distractions. Close enough to fine dining in surrounding towns. Very centrally located between Franklin, Highlands, and N. Georgia. Close to major hiking trails in Western Carolina. Beautiful creek in the back yard, with a large rock and running stream. Great place place for a lawn chair, and for watching the kids play in the outdoors! Perfect place for me! Great getaway.

The trash wasn’t dumped. There was food on the table. I searched forever until I found the bath towels but no washcloths. When I did our laundry then in the dryer was the towels , washcloths etc. And the bedroom had a transition so my mom in laws walker and footing were unsafe for her so we had to go get a wood transition strip made.
