NEW!—IBIS COTTAGE—Beach side retreat. Prime location with Bikes and Beach gear!
Welcome to the Ibis Cottage, a cozy house nestled in the heart of Oak Island. Located on the beach side, you can have your toes in the sand within a 3-minute walk, or take a stroll over to 49th Street Restaurant for dinner and drinks. Located blocks away from Publix Grocery and Middleton Park, you are close to all the action but not too close. Take full advantage of the relaxing and spacious covered front porch to enjoy the beautiful outdoors or explore the island on one of four beach cruisers.
Newly built and furnished in 2021, the Ibis Cottage boasts coastal décor with wood accents and neutral tones. With a beautiful open concept, the main floor offers an abundance of natural light with vaulted ceilings. The fully equipped kitchen is completely open to the dining room, which accommodates up to six adults for a seated meal together. Prefer to dine outdoors? Set the outside dining table for dinner instead, conveniently located just off the kitchen under the screened back porch. In the kitchen, you will be pleasantly greeted with all stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space. The living room is spacious and comfortably furnished for hanging out with family and friends. The focal point of this space is the 65” Samsung flat-screen TV. A guest bath can be found between the living room and guest bedrooms.
All three bedrooms are on the main floor of this home; the master suite with king bed, 50” Samsung flat screen and private bath, a guest bedroom with two twin beds (one with trundle) and 40" flat screen TV, and an additional guest bedroom with queen bed and 40” flat screen TV. Relax and take in the serene setting of live oak treetops and blue sky from the interior living and outdoor decks. The Master bedroom has shared access to the back deck through sliding glass doors.
With so much outdoor space, plan to cook out on the easy-to-use gas grill, or grab your favorite book and relax in the hammock under the shaded deck and live oaks.
Once settled in, the Ibis Cottage truly becomes a home away from home, but better because it’s at the beach.

About the host

Hello! My husband and I moved to Oak Island from Raleigh in 2021. We craved being closer to the water and experiencing a more tranquil way of life. We purchased a sliver of land and began to build our vacation home with the hope of sharing experiences with our family and friends. We had always wanted to live at the coast and our dream came to fruition.
Why they chose this property
We love this property because of its easy access to the beach, park, concerts, restaurants and grocery store.
What makes this property unique
Its such a serene setting within the live oaks it makes you feel like you're in a treehouse.
