Great for a wedding weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable A frame home. The home was a quick drive to tanglewood and the views were beautiful. The owner was very communicative and prompt with answering any questions.

Great stay!

Our family had a wonderful time in Lenox and we loved staying here. The house was very comfortable and has stunning views. The house is very close to Tanglewood and the town center, but it also felt like we were staying in the woods. Our kids loved the nearby swimming and hiking. Anna and Simeon are great hosts. We would happily stay here again!

Nice House but lacks some fundamentals

No dressers or draws in any bedroom. No night tables in upstairs bedroom. No closets in upstairs bedroom. Closets in bedrooms that had closets contained dusty storage items making them almost unusable. Upstairs bedroom had glass doors which did not provide any privacy. Upstairs bedroom had only half curtains on outside windows and with glass doors and windows in sitting room, morning sun was not blocked at all. No hand towels. Upstairs bathroom had no towel hooks or towel bars to hang towels. No toilet paper holders in the bathrooms. Toilet paper was just sitting on top of toilet or vanity. No extra rolls of paper towels. Leaky kitchen faucet. Broken upstairs bathroom shower head. The dining table was in a heavily windowed area outside main living area. It had no air conditioning and felt like a sauna. We were forced to move it into the main area of the house which was air conditioned. Listing indicated there were two ensuite bathrooms, however there was only one. There were two keys but only 1 worked. Lamp in bedroom with twin beds was unstable. Mirror in ensuite bathroom was not hung on wall and needed to stoop to use it. Beds in bedroom with twin beds seemed to be narrower than regular twin bed, more cot size.

We are a family of three kids and two adults plus one French Bulldog, Mr. Butters. We enjoy nature and swimming in lakes as well as as bowling, eating ice creams and hanging out in Great Barrington.

Why they chose this property

We chose Lenox because it's a beautiful town in the heart of the Berkshires, and close to all things we like. Our neighborhood is perfect because it is far away enough that you feel in the woods, yet just a short drive or walk to town. We love going to the Old Heritage Tavern for nachos and hot dogs!

What makes this property unique

Our property is a beautiful A Frame with tons of light and we have furnished it with a contemporary style. It's comfy and fun.
