Forget all your day to day worries in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath secluded log cabin located about 3 miles from town. Even though this cabin is secluded, it’s not remote. It’s bordered by unspoiled properties, some of which are protected in perpetuity.
The main level offers the living area with wood burning fireplace, open kitchen area, covered front porch, small screened entry porch, Mst. BR with King bed, one bath, mud room, and back open deck area. The upper level has a full bath in between two bedrooms- one is a large BR with Queen bed and TV (for DVD use), and the other is an open loft bedroom with a queen bed. The loft looks over into the living area which has a queen sleep sofa.
The grounds are kept natural and are full of native wild flowers, ferns, rhododendrons and mountain laurel. There are two hammocks here, a Chimenea, fire pit- great place for story telling and making S’mores, and a corn hole game as well. This cabin is air conditioned and has satellite TV and DVD player. For the grill masters, there’s a Green Egg grill to cook up your masterpiece steak or fresh caught mountain trout.
WiFi is included, but this is still a great spot to disconnect, relax, unwind and enjoy the mountains.
This home has a three- night minimum, except for HOLIDAYS AND SOME LOCAL EVENTS.
The rental app you are using may allow you to make two or three-night rentals during these times, but that doesn't mean the reservation will be honored.

When you book your reservation through VRBO/Homeaway, the Property Manager handling this property will be notified by VRBO/Homeaway that a reservation has been made.
You will be asked to enter your credit card information, but you will not be charged for your reservation at this time. You WILL be charged a nominal service fee by VRBO/Homeaway. The fee is between you and VRBO/Homeaway; the property manager has nothing to do with the fee.
After the property manager has been notified of your reservation, you can rest assured this property is being held for you. You are booked.
The property manager will email you a lease. The lease will need to be reviewed, signed and returned to the property manager. If you haven’t received a lease within 72 hours it could be because the property manager/rental office is closed. (Operating hours are Mon-Fri 10-4) OR you may need to check your SPAM folder. Your lease will have options- usually the price you pay will be less than what is shown because all the options are listed.
The property manager/rental office for this property is a small-town business and we’ve been renting properties for over 30 years. We use VRBO/Homeaway for rental leads/reservations. A portion of your rental proceeds goes to VRBO/Homeaway for their service.
