We had the best time at Horseshoe Cabin! The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed. It was such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy time together. We loved coming back to the cabin after a day of hiking, shopping, and exploring Highlands. Mary Ann was absolutely wonderful! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and even had a birthday cake and ice cream for our celebration. It was such a thoughtful surprise and meant so much to us. Mary Ann, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. You truly made our stay extra special!

Beautiful wooded surroundings. Thoughtful, attractive, attention to detail decorating throughout. Comfortable throughout, including living room, bedrooms and screened in porch. Gourmet kitchen with all needed, including staples. Looking forward to returning!

Even in a region renowned for its hospitality, this host rises above in making guests feel welcomed and cherished. You could describe the property as carefully curated, with so many thoughtful and considerate details- the fall scent when you walk in the door, the pumpkin bread that pairs so well with morning coffee on the back porch, the easy-to-use bedside chargers. But that would still fail to convey how beautiful this cabin truly is, how well appointed it is, and how, when it is time to leave, you will find yourself regretting that your stay wasn’t longer and already wistful for the day you can return.

We had a fabulous stay at the Horseshoe Cabin. Mary Ann is definitely a 5 star Hostess! The home is just stunning in pictures and in person. The Welcome Basket with baked goodies, gourmet popcorn and wine was over the top! So many extras to make your stay the very best. The home is just so cozy. The beds and bedding were super comfortable as well. We were in town for a wedding and the home was just perfect for the 5 of us. We saw a doe just walking down the road and thru the back yard. Saturday afternoon was spent on the back porch watching college football with the fireplace keeping us toasty! We will be back! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Incredible! The house was beautiful and spotless when we walked in. Frankly the pictures do not do it justice just how cozy and nice everything felt. We spent a full day on the deck with a fire going listening to the rain on the roof. Mary Ann was super communicative and accommodated a couple special requests that made our stay perfect. We will definitely be back.

This cabin was the perfect rental for my family of 4 (kids 9 and 11) and my parents. The location was perfect - close to Main Street but secluded in the mountains with great scenic views. The owner was wonderful to work with and has some nice touches that make this rental feel like a home away from home. We will be back!

This was the most wonderful VRBO experience I have ever had. The house was absolutely gorgeous and posh, while still feeling cozy and comfortable. Cool evenings on the back porch with a fire and a book are heavenly. The house is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood, so all you hear are the sounds of nature. Best night's sleep on the most comfy beds! The hostess was so gracious and provided everything we needed for a truly relaxing vacation. I will never stay anywhere else in Highlands!

Horseshoe Cabin was awesome. As was Mary Ann. The cabin was clean, decorated beautifully, and very comfortable. The screened in back deck is like a secluded treehouse although there are houses close by. It’s a well cared for home. Mary Ann was always available if needed and provided us with quite a few tasty treats. Not to mention the coffee and paper products and garbage bags. I’ve never stayed in a nicer or more well equipped and supplied VRBO rental.

Horseshoe Cabin truly felt like our home away from home! Our host, Mary Ann, left no stone unturned in welcoming us to her place—yummy cookies, treats galore, and a lovely note to welcome us. Her responses to my questions were prompt, helpful, and full of grace! The cabin was impeccably clean and full of amenities. It was spacious and a perfect layout for our family of 5. The beds were comfy, the porch was a dream, and even though our weekend was full of rain, our hearts are full of gratitude for lovely memories made! We cannot wait for a return visit!!

This is my third stay at horseshoe cabin. It is my favorite place to stay in Highlands. The cabin is beautifully furnished and extremely well supplied. The host has thought of everything! I truly enjoyed my stay!!

This was, without question, one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed in. From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we had found someplace special. It somehow manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming while still being beautifully appointed and luxurious.The attention to detail throughout the home is exceptional. Everything was thoughtfully stocked, the house was immaculately clean, and there were so many little touches that made our stay feel special—including a wonderful welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived.Our host was absolutely incredible. She was available anytime I had a question, incredibly kind and responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay.I could honestly go on and on. I rarely leave a vacation rental genuinely sad to go, but I was already thinking about when we could come back almost as soon as we arrived. This home is a little piece of heaven in the Highlands, and we feel so grateful that we had the opportunity to experience it.If you are considering booking it, do it. We absolutely cannot wait to return.

Our stay at this adorable home was absolute heaven!! From the beautiful and comfy furnishings to the well equipped and stocked amenities (fireplaces w/wood, kitchen necessities, plentiful bedding and towels, etc…) we didn’t want for a thing. That is, except for the fact that we didn’t want to leave!!
