Nancy was a great host. The cottage had everything we needed and was in a nice quiet location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.
Had a wonderful time here. A nice little place still on the island while not having to be in the thick of the tourist crowds. Quiet and relaxing after a day of Acadia and Bar Harbor activities.
Great place! Clean, comfortable and very well appointed, all the comforts of home. Perfect location to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor & Bass Harbor Head light. Abundance of restaurants in the area. Nancy was a very gracious host & responded timely to texts. Would highly recommend. We would definitely stay again.

Great place for a couple. Very clean with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Nancy and Ronnie are great hosts. This property is located on the "Quiet Side" of Mt. Desert Island - away from the traffic and crowds of Bar Harbor. Southwest Harbor is a small village but has several excellent restaurants and a grocery store with everything you need is a 5-minute drive. Close to Acadia National Park.

This was a perfect place to stay! Nancy and Ronnie were absolutely wonderful. We totally recommend this property. Great location for day trips to Acadia National Park and beyond!
Great location to access Acadia’s Quite side! First visit to Maine and found the property to provide great access to Acadia trail heads, close to fantastic Lobster pier, and all that Southwest Harbor has to offer.
It was in a good location surrounded by woods. Completely updated throughout. Nancy was very nice to work with. We had a blinking kitchen light. She immediately went to purchase new bulbs that took care of the problem. There was cleaning supplies and washer detergent. We were very happy.
The property is very lovely - the property itself is very nicely decorated & sits in a beautiful & convenient location. (Having worked for many years in the hospitality industry, I might make a couple suggestions to make it even more perfect. A curtain on the front door window or putting a frost coating on the glass would be nice for privacy. I also appreciate a full length mirror & find it helpful to have 2 mirrors in a rental. And we found it difficult to shower without getting water on the floor so perhaps relocating the faucets to the other end of the shower or adding a shower door would be helpful.) But it was truly a great place to stay! Thank you very much!!
Great place: updated, clean, well-stocked. There is another unit attached but neighbors were quiet and we found it an incredibly peaceful setting. An easy 30-minute drive to all our hikes and bike rides in Acadia over 3 days. Everything was smooth. Had one question after arrival and received return message immediately. Just make sure you have your entry code before pulling up as we did not have internet until getting on the Wifi.
