The place was absolutely amazing. Match the pictures. I don’t understand why the negativity about the neighborhood. We had no issues. It was quite clean the apartment was accurate to the pictures. The host was beyond kind, responsive attentive. They were very nice. The home was very comfortable cozy two beds TV in the master room TV downstairs was huge. All the appliances cooking was no issue seasons were also there. Parking really wasn’t an issue 23 minutes from Philly. Definitely would book again home was very clean once again can’t stress that enough. It was very clean. Smelled great.
Host was very pushy and kicked us out on assumptions. House is in the ghetto.

Zaria rented for 1 night for 2 guests. However, 3 males came earlier and I noticed them inspecting the cameras in the front and backyard. I called to ask why there were 3 males going in. She was at a prom and said she would ask her friend. The 3 males soon left. Around 11pm, she checked in with another female and one of the males. Soon after, my security cameras went offline. I called to inquire about this and she claimed her friend was sleeping downstairs and must have unplugged the cameras to charge her phone. I knew something fishy was up and called Vrbo to report everything. I told her I was coming to check the house and had the Vrbo support agent, Syed Obaid, on the phone the entire time. I arrived and the doors were open and a group gathered in the parking lot across. The house reeked of smoke. All furniture had been rearranged. Some dining chairs and study chair from upstairs had been added to the living room. Dining table was moved to the kitchen with red party cups on it. The dining chairs and kitchen stools were arranged in a semi circle in the dining room. There was alcohol in the fridge and bottles of water in one bedroom. The console, flower pot & lamp from the living room were now in the other bedroom. The WiFi and cameras were unplugged. I forwarded the pictures to Vrbo. Vrbo told her to vacate for breaking the rules. She left to join the group & texted apologizing for being dishonest and if she could come get her alcohol. I’m surprised Vrbo allowed her review.
The property owner was friendly but he told me this was a good neighborhood and that he’s never had any issues however I pulled into the neighborhood made the block and immediately decided we would not be staying there. I messaged him told him we would not be checking in. I lost over 1000 but as a woman traveling alone I just was not comfortable tents and people on the side walks laying around on the side walks is a no for me .. I never entered the property so I can’t speak to cleanliness or checkin process

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Not ADA / handicapped accessible
First impression of the “hood” was scary. Unit is what appears to be part of a housing “project “. But, we decided to go in and check it out before making any rash decisions. We were delighted to walk into a cute little town house with nice furniture, a huge TV ! This is a split level unit and not at all ADA/wheelchair accessible. Unit has downstairs living room, dining room and kitchen. Up a very narrow and steep staircase are 2 bedrooms and the only bathroom. Unit is clean and appears to be newly repainted. There is a basement with washer/dryer “all-in-one that, unfortunately does not work. We washed one load of clothes (we had to buy the detergent). All of my clothes turned blue! Plus the washer did not finish the cycle and the dryer did not dry the clothes. There is a small back patio, but we didn’t spend any time there. We stayed the week and found the neighborhood to be quiet and folks were pleasant.. My greatest compliment is for the host! She contacted me almost immediately and thanked us for our booking. She even sent us a dried fruit basket!!! Wonderful hospitality and honest concern for our comfort! We ended up really enjoying our stay here. We would gladly book this place again when we’re visiting in the Wilmington area. I would rate this place a high 4!!!

Thank you for your honest review. Apologies for your experience with the washer and dryer. Please note that we have since replaced the all-in-one machine with brand new, separate washer and dryer. Look forward to hosting you again.
