5 houses from the beach, and 5 minutes from town -- Ocean Beach 3-BR hideaway

With a big outdoor deck, and an oversized living space inside, you'll have a classic Fire Island experience rain or shine. We've updated the interior keeping some of the authentic features -- exposed cedar, wood beams -- and augmented that with modern furniture and appliances. Our back deck is fully private, with a grill, outdoor shower, and lounge area, and has a great vibe for hanging day or night. With the Ocean Beach restaurant scene just a few minutes away, you can stay in or go out with ease! Feel free to take advantage of our beach cruisers too for exploring -- either just hopping around Ocean Beach or going to the farther away towns of Seaview or Ocean Bay Park. For sleeping -- our 2 downstairs bedrooms have blackout curtains for a good night's sleep. Our upstairs bedroom has a queen and ample storage. Plus, we have a small 'nook' overlooking the large living space with two chairs that fold into sleeping mats -- the perfect hideout for kids.

A true Fire Island gem for families!We absolutely loved our stay at this property and would happily return. The location was fantastic — being able to easily walk into town made everything so convenient, especially with kids. It was the perfect balance of being close to everything while still feeling like a relaxing getaway.The house was wonderful for our family, and we really appreciated how comfortable and easy it was to settle in. The owner was absolutely lovely, incredibly responsive, and made the entire experience feel effortless from start to finish.I use VRBO regularly, so I’m always excited when I find a place that feels like a real hidden gem. I know this property is newer to VRBO, and I honestly think we found something special. It’s clear that the owners care about their guests and their property.We had such a great family stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and family-friendly place to stay on Fire Island. A new VRBO gem!
