Beautiful place with the absolute best view. Very clean and inviting. The host was great with communication and very quick when texting back. We love this area and would recommend this beautiful property to anyone that might want to relax in Harpswell.

The house is in a beautiful location.The washer was out of commission for the whole week and the host's communication about it was abysmal.

Peaceful

Saronole was a quiet restful retreat, the only traffic being the sea ducks and lobster boats passing by. The house was comfortable and well stocked. The location provided us with easy access up the coast or down the coast when we wanted to explore. I will consider booking here again.

This review is tricky to write. The property location cannot be beat! However, it has some wear and tear that has lead to a strong musty smell, very uncomfortable beds, and an earwig infestation (I’d assume a seasonal issue). We couldn’t sit on the floor without finding them in our lap, or sliding across every lower level room. Additionally, the listing does not mention it and we were all very thrown off by the very yellow, cloudy water from the plumbing. It had a very strong metallic smell and left us all feeling dirtier than before showering. This may be something that’s expected with living in such an amazing place, but some heads up would be nice. They supplied us with ample bottled drinking water, much appreciated! We did not bring this to the attention of management as nothing could have been done to correct it during our stay, they were very communicative and I’m sure of needs did arise they would have been addressed. None of this was going to deter our trip and we had an amazing time watching seals and hunting for shells right off the patio.

We wish you had reached out about either issue. Neither are normal. They have a filter system there which means something wasn't working correctly and we do have the ability to have someone come out for a repair for that if needed. In addition the earwig issue is new so we will address both now.

We loved our stay at this house. The view was absolutely amazing. The house was nice and we were able to spend time together without feeling always on top of eachother. The kitchen was great and the table being right there was nice for all of us to be together. We only had a couple of minor issues and the management was very quick to get back to us. Again, the view was beautiful and we really enjoyed being there.
