Spectacular 8 Acre Oceanfront Property with Beautiful Sunsets

Your cozy “bungalow” is part of an incredible 8-acre private estate with a private beach, walking trails, cliff views, a shared deep water dock, and even a freshwater swimming pond. The Bungalow is an 800 sq ft heated modern post & beam structure providing ample living space with a modern kitchen, two bedrooms (one queen, one full), and a 300 sq ft living/dining room area with an adjoining screen porch. There is also a bathroom with a tub/shower that includes a washer and dryer. Off the porch is a private lawn with four Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, and a BBQ.

You are just a short walk through open fields to a private ocean beach perfect for launching your kayak. Continue your walk to a shared private dock great for swimming. Our dock is on the local harbor at Lookout Point and faces westward for fantastic sunsets and expansive island views. This is an active lobstering harbor so you can purchase your lobsters right next door!

The Bungalow is located on an incredible 8-acre private family estate in a lush field surrounded by 1,500 feet of ocean frontage. You get to share this calm and quiet estate with a family-owned cottage and year-round home while having your own secluded corner all to yourself.

So come swim off the dock, launch your kayak, swim off the rocks, read a book, have a lobster, take walks . . . just relax and enjoy!

Enjoyable short stay

My husband and I enjoyed our two-night stay at this clean, open/airy, cozy home. Everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed walking to the beach area and the beautiful sunset. If you're seeking a smaller home, natural beauty and time away from crowds, we recommend this place. It's also within easy driving distance to towns like Freeport and other areas of interest.

Very relaxing with wonderful views

My husband and I had such a good time. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable with everything you needed. We enjoyed our coffee on the screened porch and the chairs ouside the bungalow. Beautiful property! The bungalow was clean and comfortable and had all the extras (pans, grill, coffee pot, TV streaming services, shampoo...) you may need. The property was beautiful, and nearby Brunswick and Freeport had lots of great food and shopping. Fantastic hosts, thought of every last detail!

Amazing- just what we were looking for!

This bungalow as well as the property is beautiful! It was extremely clean, well organized, nicely decorated and cozy. If anyone is interested in cooking during their visit this is your kitchen complete with everything you need. Mattresses were comfy as well as the sofa. Susan and Ned are charming and very interested in making your stay wonderful. We will definitely book with them again next fall.

From the minute my friends and I arrived at the bungalow, it completely took our breath away. Not only was the property huge, quiet, and enchanting, the space itself was cozy and inviting—the perfect getaway for a small group like ours. Susan and Ned were lovely and easy to communicate with (we met them briefly during our stay), and their rental could not have been more perfect for a first visit to Maine. We could not recommend it enough (and hope to return next year)!!

Reunion in a cozy Bungalow

My three friends and I found the space to be just what we needed. We doubled up in the rooms and felt we had enough space to hang out, play games, do yoga, cook, and enough places to explore. Due to the loft style of the space, you could hear everything, luckily, we are all early birds. The property is beautiful and Susan was very helpful, even greeting us when we arrived. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and was well stocked. Directions and expectations were clear and her guest book was thorough. I'd stay here again if venturing into the area or suggesting the space to a friend.

The bungalow and property are enchanting! The perfect quiet get away for a few days. Meticulously maintained property - all of the little details were spot on - even the firewood shed was organized! Beautiful ocean front just steps from the well appointed, extremely comfortable bungalow. It is the perfect location from which to enjoy Midcoast Maine. Susan was a gracious and welcoming hostess and she and Ned have created a fabulous getaway with so much care for the property and thoughtful details in the bungalow. What an incredible place! We had a wonderful stay at Susan & Ned's bungalow. The property is even more family-friendly than we expected - Susan provided us with a pac-n-play and highchair and thoughtfully rearranged the furniture before we arrived, to best accommodate our 2 yr old. We loved exploring the coastline on the property; the kids loved the newly-constructed and sturdy swingset. House had everything we needed, including very comfortable beds. We have already recommended this bungalow to friends and family who may be coming to Harpswell. We would love to come back.

Wow! This was a perfect vacation bungalow for us! We enjoyed the short hiking paths through the meadow (so nice) and along the cliff looking out over the bay. Happy hour sunsets were beautiful. The birding was great, too. We would give the stay a 6 out of 5.
