This charming historic home is a truly one-of-a-kind find in Fish Creek! Perfectly situated in the middle of downtown, it's just steps away from the marina, beach, shops, restaurants, and more. The expansive backyard and deck provide privacy and space for your whole group to enjoy.
Dine al fresco at the 12-foot outdoor dining table, cozy up on the couches by the outdoor gas fire pit, or watch the big game on the outdoor TV!
Having been originally built in the 1800s and used as an inn for fishermen, each bedroom is small and cozy! There is enough space for the bed, nightstands, and your belongings for your stay, but it cannot accommodate additional items like a pack-n-play.
Dogs are welcome at this property for an additional fee.
As our guest, you'll have full access to all parts of the home and outdoor space, including a driveway to park 2 vehicles.
This is a historic home that our family has resorted to enjoy! We have made many memories here for ourselves over the past few years and cannot wait for you to do the same!

Thanks so much for your kind words, Bruce! We are looking forward to your next visit!
Loved your home! Beautiful house in a perfect location! Bedrooms are small but cozy and comfortable. We weren’t able to use the outdoor space since it’s the winter season but looked great and private.
Super cute house in a great location, within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The yard is fenced in and perfect if you bring a dog. It was too cold to sit outside but has a great outdoor area that is perfect for entertaining guests. House was very clean, bedrooms were tight but cozy. I removed a star because it is advertised as a 2 bathroom property but it only has 1 1/2 bathrooms. It worked for our group of 4 but definitely would not want more than 4 people to have to share only one shower.

Hi Cathy, thank you for your review and feedback! I want to clarify that we are unable to specify "half" bath in the VRBO listing details - I indicate two bathrooms because there are two bathrooms in the home. We do show photos of both bathrooms (one full and one half) to showcase this in our property details!
The house was a classic door county cottage, cute, comfortable and homey. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a fenced yard that is ideal if bringing pets. The location in fish creek could not be better. The only drawback for us was just one shower so if you had a larger group a second full bath would be nice. Otherwise it was perfect.
We really liked the home and location. Easy walk to any place in Fish Creek. The yard and the two sitting areas outside were a nice plus. We enjoyed the outside very much. Liked the historic home. Very charming. It worked well for 5 active senior women. Thanks!
The Historic Hill Home was exactly as it was described. The house is centrally located and within walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms are small yet cozy and the outside area is configured well for gatherings. Mackenzie was a great host! She is very responsive and addressed concerns efficiently. Overall our stay was enjoyable and the fish boil in Fish Creek was delicious!

Thanks so much for your review, Laurie! It was such a pleasure to host your group!
First, It is not a 2 bathroom. There's a full bath upstairs and a powder room downstairs. We were so happy it was dog friendly. Be aware, the fence is short. Large dogs can jump the fence. The property's location, the tradition and the feel of the house was awesome. The bedrooms are small, tastefully decorated and charming. The outdoor space is spectacular! The ease of coming and going downtown was also fantastic. We would definitely rent again.
Perfect location in Fish Creek. House was cozy with small bedrooms, but outdoor space was amazing. Water smells but drinking water provided. No water softener so drinking glasses are gross. Price was steep considering little details were overlooked (shampoo, outdoor candles did not work, burned out tea lights in hurricanes).

Location-Location!!
Very charming home with outdoor living that is spectacular!
Bedrooms small but liveable
Only issue is house is only 1 1/2 bath. 5 women with one shower is difficult at times. The listing stated two baths with no other info - I should have inquired.
We loved staying at this home. Every detail is thought out. The outdoor space far exceeded our expectations and is perfect for a group of friends to hang out! The covered space, the fire table, and the large table drew us outside and we spent each night out there. It is a private oasis. Don't let the small bedrooms stop you- they are so well organized and have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including night tables, lamps, lots of storage, and hooks galore to hang things. The kitchen is perfect for preparing a meal or just standing around and snacking. We took advantage of the location by walking and riding our bikes everywhere. It's close to all the great things in Fish Creek! We will definitely come again.
