It is part of a brand new single story duplex, along with Winthrop Trailside Getaway 2. Each unit is completely private with a separate driveway (opposite sides of the Greenwood loop), entry and patio. There are no shared spaces, and none of the living areas in either unit are adjacent to the common wall of the building. So you can enjoy the peace and privacy of your own space. You are centrally located and a quick 5-minute walk will take you to the Winthrop Library, Winthrop Rink, Barnyard Cinema, Methow Valley Food Shed Farm Stand, IGA supermarket, and locals-favorite, East 20 Pizza. Winthrop's historic downtown is only a 10-minute walk on the Susie Stephens Trail, which takes you past one of the most scenic Winthrop viewpoints on the Spring Creek Suspension Bridge crossing the Methow River.
We offer eco-friendly, fragrance-conscious household products and strive to minimize our environmental impact. A large gear storage room is located at the back of the carport for easy and secure storage of your bikes, skis, or other outdoor recreation equipment. The gear storage room locks with the same key as the home.
The dining room table is set for 4, but accommodates 2 additional place settings using the leaf and additional chairs located in the front entry closet.

An EV charging station (50amp RV outlet) is located in the carport. You will need the appropriate adapter for your specific EV type.

We had a great stay in Winthrop. The home was in a nice location, clean and very comfortable. David was a great host, very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!
This is a beautifully decorated home. I loved the wood floors and the nature photos on the walls. We appreciated the air conditioning since the weather was hot during our stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had a good supply of dishes and cooking utensils. Our favorite feature was the nearby walking trail to downtown, the library, and restaurants.
Nice home and worked well for our family of four. Very clean and appears to be new or newer construction. Owner was very communicative and easy to work with.
Beds, linens, and towels were very good condition and comfortable , my only comment and not a negative was the master bed was more firm than we are used to or prefer.
Location was very close to downtown Winthrop (walkable) and easy accessing surrounding areas. Home was located in a small, newer neighborhood that was very quiet and felt safe.
The house felt so warm and welcoming! Loved that it basically had everything that we needed for our hiking getaway. It was a quiet location and was very relaxing to come back too after a long day. So happy with our stay and anytime we come to Winthrop we will definitely want to rebook
This was one of the nicest places that we have stayed in Winthrop. We come here a few times a year for hockey tournaments, and will definitely look to stay here again. Conveniently located close to town. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries we had and gave thorough check in and out instructions. We even saw a deer in the front driveway.
This was an amazing place to stay. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and had all the extras you don’t usually find in a rental, like spices, foil, parchment paper, and zip top bags. The space was very clean and there were plenty of extra towels for both showering and kitchen use. The full size washer and dryer were such a bonus while traveling, and even having stain remover available was a thoughtful touch. The host also provided a welcome binder with helpful information about the property along with great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We really enjoyed our time in Winthrop and would absolutely stay here again next time we are in town.
The place was perfect for our party of 4. The house is brand new, very clean, and full of amenities. The location is perfect, a quiet neighborhood and walkable to downtown. I highly recommend this place!
We loved staying here for our midwinter break! Great house- with attention to detail. The host was very responsive and helpful! It was great to be centrally located and we went sledding, ice skating and hiking on the Susie Stephens trail!
Beautiful, accessible location to all Winthrop has to offer. Lovely home with perfect space to spread out for two to four people. Responsive, friendly host. We’ll be back!
We loved everything about David's cabin! From the moment we walked in, we could tell that he was very thoughtful about making his cabin comfortable for guests. The cabin was spotless, very well equipped, and the perfect location for exploring Winthrop and the North Cascades area. It is located a short, easy walk from "downtown" Winthrop, and it is only a short drive from many of the best hiking trails in the area. The pictures do not do it justice! We will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to the area.
This was a wonderful place to spend three weeks cross country skiing. It is right next to a trail that connects to virtually all others in the trail system so we could ski out the door when we didn't want to drive to the more distant trailheads. The property was clean with new everything, and the host was exceptionally responsive to queries. We are looking forward to staying here again on future trips to the Methow.
We had a great experience staying at this house in Winthrop. The house is brand new and has everything you need. Walking distance to everything Winthrop has to offer, but still in a very quiet neighborhood. David has been pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Highly recommend it!
The house was so cute, well stocked and plenty of room for our family. Communication was great. The neighborhood was perfect. We walked everywhere in Winthrop. Getting to North Cascades and the trails and overlooks was very easy. We will most definitely be back!
We absolutely loved this house! The proximity to a ton of the popular larch hikes in Seattle, as well as downtown Winthrop was perfect. It is also about 40 minutes to Diablo lake! 3.5 from Seattle. The house is in the cutest neighborhood with the friendliest neighbors. It was spotless upon entering, clean up to Monica’s standards (if you get the reference). It also had plenty of supplies and all we needed. The bedrooms were both big with comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of towels and kitchen utensils. Also the check in and out was flawless and easy. The host was responsive and prompt with messages, even let us check in a little early which was awesome. Never stayed in a better place truly! Can’t wait to tell our friends and make it an annual trip. 10/5 stars!!
We appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of this property. The bed in the master was comfortable. We liked the floor plan with open living room, dining, & kitchen. Having one full bath plus extra toilet off the laundry room was helpful. It looked like the pictures and the host was responsive. This is one of the nicer VRBOs we’ve stayed at and would definitely stay here again if in the area. My only small negative comment is that some windows don’t have curtains or blinds. This makes sense to me in the kitchen. The big window in the master bedroom is covered, but the higher skinny window above the bed is not. I could understand if the window were higher not being covered but at the height it is, we could see out when standing. Not a huge dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you’re paranoid about privacy.
A window had been left open & a door unlocked by the housekeeper upon our arrival but nothing was amiss…just something for the owner to know…otherwise, everything was fantastic & the only thing that might have made it better would have been black out blinds for sleeping late…spotlessly clean!
