Host is very attentive to requests, Cabin is rustic and quaint, all basic needs are accounted for. Secluded in the private neighborhood, peaceful, and quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay in this mountain cabin. Everything we needed was there. We especially enjoyed the warm wood stove with glass front. And the back deck was great with a snack and beverage as the sun set on the beautiful scenery. Our host made the experience easy to manage.
Adorable!!!! The cabin was the perfect cozy backdrop for our family Valentine’s Day weekend getaway. The minimalist vibe made it really easy to keep the space tidy, and all the supplies we needed to cook the food we brought were there.(They had salt and pepper there but we supplied the rest of the ingredients.) The kids (4 and 6) say that they really liked the bunk beds and the tv. We did bring all entertainment items like games, books, and any toys the kids wanted. Kai provided all the essentials, like towels, washcloths, cooking utensils, dishes for 4, enough toilet paper and paper towels for the weekend, and clear instructions for entering the gated area and the house itself. We went hiking to the homestead at Stone Mountain State Park (maybe 20-30 min drive) had a wonderful time in this cabin. We would love to come again someday.
This was a great place to stay! Just perfect for the two of us. We wanted somewhere peaceful and quiet, and that is exactly what it was, just us and the animals. Will definitely go back!
All as advertised. We were looking for a quit, cozy get away in a wooded location, and “The Hideaway” did not disappoint. Located deep in a gated community, the hideaway is small and rustic but has all the basics covered, with natural attractions not far off. It’s an ideal place to decompress in the woods.
Loved this property. Note though it is small so no big crowds. I stayed with a buddy and my dog and we had a blast. Very secluded. If you are looking for that youve found it. Easy access to many access points on the New River (we kayaked and fished. I would stay there again. Thanks, Kai. It was a great relaxing weekend.
All and all the stay was good. The air conditioner is a problem. It throughs a very musty smell which makes it in usable. Salt and pepper would have been handy. Thanks

Sorry to hear you had issues with the AC. It's literally less than a month old so I'll take a look at it. Thanks
We were informed it was ladybug/ stinkbug season, we found none of those bugs but there were a few large cockroaches. The roll of toilet paper left in the bathroom for us to use had some sort of dirt or bug residue in between the layers of paper. I have photos of both. The strong smell of pine sol was used to cover up a water damage smell. We were so unhappy we packed our things, cleaned what we used and left saturday morning to visit our friends and never returned to the property.

You complained about bed comfort but nothing else, and didn't provide an opportunity to remedy anything despite the fact that I was very quick to respond to you. The cleaner mops with pinesol, sorry if that was over powering for you. What water damage? We are in the heart of the woods, in the mountains, unfortunately bugs are going to be present despite our best attempts at bug control. In the future, id suggest reaching out to hosts so they can help you with your stay.
