“Low Tide” cozy studio for two!

This unique place has a style all its own. It’s an open concept studio for two on the “quietside” of Mount Desert Island. This cozy, newly constructed nook is the perfect place to rest your head after exploring all our island has to offer!
Queen sized bed, shower and couch with TV. Note, there is no oven or cooktop. Your kitchenette will provide a sink, refrigerator, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Your studio is the downstairs to the owners apartment, both with their own entrance and shares a driveway with my other rental.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was extremely clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything was well taken care of, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great and made it easy to explore the area. The host was very welcoming and communication was excellent. We only stayed for one night, but we would absolutely stay here again and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Great place with no stairs to lug your bags up! Right down the street from the Light Head, only a few minutes to Acadia, and 30 mins to Bar Harbor.

The room was very quaint and clean. The internet was very subpar (buffering when trying to watch a football game) and the miss on coffee was disappointing (though she did deliver upon request) for a 300/night studio. Good spot but just a spot to sleep.

Regarding the internet, our property is located on an island where service can be less consistent than in larger mainland areas. This is a limitation of the island-wide service and is outside of our control. We always make every effort to address concerns promptly when they are brought to our attention.

This property was exactly what we were looking for to explore the Acadia National Park region. We wanted a comfortable, quiet getaway from the touristy parts of the park. The studio was the perfect size space-bigger than a hotel room, smaller than a home. It was clean, comfortable with charming decor.

We had traveled quite a way to get to Acadia,and when I opened the door of Low Tide, I gave a sigh of relief! It was lovely and stocked with all the things you need to relax and rest after hiking and sight seeing. Nicole was the perfect hostess and communicated thoroughly and quickly. We really appreciated the drip coffee maker and all the extra towels that even smelled nice. It was the perfect place for us to stay!

Everything was beautiful and welcoming when I arrived after dark for my stay. The space was wonderfully clean and convenient. The host incorporated lots of great little touches. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the space seemed bigger in person than in the the pictures. I loved sitting outside in the chairs, a nice natural setting, and I thought the location was great.

The studio was very charming and comfortable. The location wasn’t what we had imagined based on the photos. Access to Acadia was close for one of the minor points of interest. It was a fair distance to a visitor center. Also, there were all kinds of brochures for whale watching and boat excursions but no National Park information. It would be nice to have had information about how to navigate the park, especially the amazing free bus service.

Perfect small cottage

Great little place for a stay in Bass Harbor. Nicole was so helpful with accurate directions, as I arrived after dark. Will definitely stay here again when I come back next year.

A charming and clean studio apartment just outside of the Bass Harbor village and a short drive to restaurants, convenience stores and waterfront. Less than 30 minutes to Bar Harbor. The hosts are on site and very accommodating.

Loved this place-- very comfy, clean, well-appointed and cared for, easy parking, excellent communication. There's a pretty junky place next door and across the street-- but those made no difference in my Excellent stay! I highly recommend.

Our stay was very brief (overnight) due to sightseeing, but we were beyond pleased with the conditions and comfort. The owner is a great host as well. Be sure to look up at the night skies when it’s nice and clear out. You won’t be disappointed.
