Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the property. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and met our needs. There are just a few areas that could be improved to make the experience even better for future guests. One thing to note is the location. The property is accessed via a very rough and poorly maintained road, which was a bit unexpected. It would be helpful to mention this more clearly in the listing so guests know what to expect before arrival.A welcome book would also be a great addition. We had difficulty figuring out how to operate the mini-split units, and some basic instructions would have been very helpful. Including local restaurant menus, recommendations, and other area information would also be a nice touch.Cell service is not just “spotty” as described. We found it to be essentially nonexistent, so guests should plan accordingly. The bathroom could use additional towel racks or hooks, as there wasn’t quite enough space to hang towels for our group.A few maintenance items are worth mentioning as well. When we used the grill, the propane tank had been left on by a previous guest. It may be helpful to add a reminder asking guests to shut the propane off after use. The grill brush also needs to be replaced, as it is very worn and no longer effective for cleaning the grates. For the kitchen, it would be nice to have a slightly larger selection of basic spices beyond salt and pepper. Small items such as garlic powder, onion powder, or seasoning
