Beautiful property in a convenient location
The Cabin was nice and suited our needs very well. We enjoyed our time in Soldotna. There are so many interesting places to explore!
great location right down the street from supply's and excellent view! Ideal for the family or group of friends that want to go fishing and explore Alaska during the day!
Cute cabin in a central Kenai Peninsula location. Quick access to grocery store and Soldotna. Private. Well supplied with all the comforts of home while away on vacation. I would recommend and would rebook this property.
Gorgeous log cabin. Super clean. The craftsmanship was extraordinary. Beautiful lake views. Super convenient to town (about 1 mile to major grocery). Well stocked with supplies for any kind of cooking - kitchen or grill. Host was prompt at responding to any questions. There were just two of us so we had our choice of rooms. Great set up for fisherman with outdoor cleaning station and freezer.

Very nice location
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. It is located right on a lake, but very close to Soldotna. Our favorite part was congregating around the large fire pit in the evenings while enjoying a glass of wine or a cold beer while having a direct view of the lake. I did suggest to the owners that they should replace the futon beds in the loft and they said they would be replaced by the 2017 season. Other than that, the cabin was awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was a great respite for 2 couples on an Alaskan Adventure. It was close to town yet the setting on the lake and in the woods was just what we needed. Jack was also so helpful with activity suggestions and general information.

My wife and I had a great time sightseeing, fishing, and just enjoying our time at this wonderful log cabin. We had great evenings just building a fire and drinking a glass of wine while we took in the beauty of the lake and surroundings. We even saw a moose right by the lake! We will definitely be back!!
From Arizona went to Alaska fishing with my sons. Could not have picked a better location. Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. Cabin had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
The cabin was accommodating and comfortable. It was the perfect size for my husband, sister, her spouse, and myself. The view was amazing and it was conveniently located.
Great Cabin, well stocked and awesome location on the lake but yet close to town. Jack is a great host and provided us good local places to shop and visit.
Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting for a family wedding. Very close to Soldotna and a beautiful setting. Although we are not fishermen I think it would be ideal for that purpose. Thanks Jack!
We stayed here for my husband's 31st birthday and loved every bit of it. It's a beautiful log cabin with a beautiful view. It's close to town, and close to fishing! We will likely be back.
The host was also very responsive and helpful!
This cabin was in a very convenient location and the view of the lake was the best icing on the best cake!! It was so nice to enjoy coffee in the morning and to watch sunsets at the end of a day while looking out over the water. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal and there was even a grill on the deck that we used frequently. The host was easy to reach and very helpful with anything we asked or needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the Kenai Peninsula. I would definitely stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Jack Ferri
We are 3 good friends, Jeff, Martine, and Jack that love to fish in Alaska!!!
Why they chose this property
We built the cabin ourselves in 2004. We have always enjoyed the natural beauty of Alaska and we wanted a place that we could come up and enjoy and was close to world class fishing! Over the years, we've fished and caught many incredible salmon on Kenai River... it's unbelievable! We're on a secluded spot on the lake, but we're still so close to town that it works out well for everyone.
What makes this property unique
ON A PRIVATE LAKE, but only 1 mile outside of Soldotna and very close to the Kenai River.
