Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry that the island-wide power outages made your stay uncomfortable. The extended outages were beyond our control and affected the wider island, not just our property. We would like to clarify an important point regarding your stay. The Vrbo records show that you cancelled your reservation and, after the reservation was no longer active, you chose to remain at the property over night . We made attempts to contact you to discuss the circumstances and determine how best to proceed, but our calls were not answered. Throughout the power outage, we also provided updates as information became available to us regarding the local challenges and restoration efforts. We understand how difficult prolonged power outages can be, particularly for families, and we did our best to communicate the information we received. We also want to clarify that we did not ask you to leave in the middle of the night. Our efforts were focused on communicating with you and addressing the circumstances as they developed. We regret that these circumstances negatively affected your experience and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the facts for future guests.
