A private oasis!

This property exceeded our expectations. The layout allowed for privacy with the upstairs loft bedroom/bathroom combination. The screened in wrap around porch was a dream. We could grill, eat and relax out there without any bugs. It also allowed us to have the screen doors shut and get a beautiful breeze into the house off the water. When the private gate opens you truly feel like you are on your own island. The saltwater pool is heated and the landscaping gave amazing privacy. The location was extremely convenient. It was down the street from the grocery store and shops making it so easy to run out and grab something. The beautiful key deer welcomed us everyday with a walk by hello. We enjoyed our stay so much. It’s a home away from home. We felt like it was our own personal home. We only had one struggle and that was getting our suitcases up the spiral staircase. They are very tricky and can be difficult to navigate. We made it work & loved the privacy of the loft. We will be returning next year. Josh & Megan were incredible hosts. They were easy to contact and always answered any questions we had. Everything was just magical and we can’t wait to return.

Welcome to Our Coastal Retreat – A Luxury Escape for Water & Nature Lovers

As natives of the Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia, our lives have always been intertwined with the water. Whether it's the rhythmic lapping of the waves, the thrill of a fishing line tugging, or the simple serenity of a sunset over the bay, we find our greatest joy in nature’s beauty. The water is more than just a backdrop—it’s a way of life, a source of peace, and a place that continuously calls us home.

Among all the places we’ve explored, the Florida Keys hold a special place in our hearts. There’s something about the unhurried pace, the endless horizon, and the salty breeze that speaks to the soul. Here, the worries of the world seem to melt away, replaced by sun-drenched days, turquoise waters, and unforgettable moments on the water. Whether it’s deep-sea fishing, snorkeling over vibrant coral reefs, or simply watching dolphins play at sunrise, the Keys offer an experience unlike any other.

Our passion for the water and the laid-back luxury of coastal living inspired us to become hosts. We love sharing our own slice of heaven with like-minded travelers—those who appreciate the finer things in life but also crave authentic experiences in nature. Every detail of our home is thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, tranquility, and a true escape from the everyday.

We invite you to indulge in the beauty that has captivated us for so long. Whether you’re here for a fishing adventure, a romantic retreat, or simply to unwind in paradise, we hope our home provides the perfect setting for your own unforgettable memories.

Welcome to your luxury waterfront escape—we’re honored to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Big Pine Key for its untouched beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Unlike the busier parts of the Keys, this island offers a more residential, nature-filled retreat, where Key Deer roam freely and Great White Herons and other rare birds call home. Nestled in Doctor’s Arm, our neighborhood is a quiet waterfront haven with easy access to the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf, making it an ideal destination for boaters, anglers, and outdoor lovers.

A short 10-minute drive brings you to Bahia Honda State Park, one of the most stunning beaches in the Florida Keys, with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. No Name Key and the famous No Name Pub are just around the corner, offering a laid-back, old-Florida charm. And when you're craving a lively evening out, Key West is only 30 minutes away, making it easy to enjoy world-class dining, live music, and legendary sunsets.

The natural beauty here is unmatched. Calm, glassy waters make this area perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding, while the nearby backcountry and Big Pine Reef offer world-class fishing and snorkeling. This is a place where you can wake up to the sight of wading herons, spend the day exploring untouched waterways, and end the evening under a star-filled sky in total tranquility.

What we love most about this neighborhood is its peaceful, welcoming vibe—a true escape from the crowds, yet close enough to everything that makes the Florida Keys so special.

We welcome guests who will treat our home and the Florida Keys with the same care and respect that we do. If you value natural beauty, serenity, and a high-end experience, this home is the perfect escape. Your nightly rate includes pool heater / chiller and cleaning fees.
