CLEANING:
We have always and will continue to use clorox, lysol cleaners, disinfectant sprays, and laundry sanitizer, vinegar, bleach as appropriate for each surface type. Our crews wear protective masks and. We have always taken great care to protect our guests! You should leave it tidy, rinsed dishes go into dishwasher so there's no ants etc. Cabins blankets and towels stay at the cabin. The crew does the rest.

Leave the cabin tidy inside and out. Clean up any food messes to prevent pests or wildlife incidents. Follow trash instructions provided in arrival and departure instructions prior to arrival.
Leave beds and bedding for the contractor, please no bedding on the floor.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Check in 4pm. Check out 11am. Please remember to bring toiletries, hand/laundry soaps. Trash bags, flash lights, cleansers.
Please bring your trash bags, for kitchen and baths to collect and put in outside cans. No flushing feminine products, wipes, diapers.

Family visit

We always enjoy visiting every year in the summer. I will definitely stay again as this was a lovely hime nearby and close to Pinecrest Lake.

Amazing property and staff

The cabin was wonderful, but what truly stood out was Darlene’s team. They went above and beyond to help my family and I as we were not prepared for the weather. They treated us like family and made sure we were taken care of at checkout. Would definitely visit again!

We loved the cozy cabin, amazing location… it was v clean and convenient. The host was v responsive as well. We truly appreciate the “no WiFi” feature…. We played scrabble, foozball, chess, read books, chatted around the table, lots of fun and laughter.

Pine trees

The cabin was clean and just the right size for the family. The area is covered in pine trees. If you are looking for seclusion this is the spot to go. Fyi - bring a good book and leave the electronics at home.

Much needed escape from busy world. Quiet neighborhood, and beautiful view around whole cabin. Definitely would come back with some extra cushions or air mattress but comfort does not take away from experience.

Great getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Since early 2000s we have been traveling to Pinecrest Lake and staying in their townhomes. This year we decided to give a cabin a try instead and we were not disappointed! The cabin was clean, spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The deck was large and the kitchen had a table that could seat 8. The owner was great and timely with communication. We will definitely book again!

Thank you so much for renting us this cabin. It was very comfortable and clean. It contained all we needed to relax after a long day of hiking or hanging out at the lake. My 82 year-old mother who has a hard time walking was extremely happy to be accommodated. Her room and living spaces were all on the ground floor. She did not want to leave! We will come back again!

Cozy Cabin Near Dodge Ridge - A Winter Haven!

Our stay at Pinecrestarearentals #8, the Snow Cabin, next to Dodge Ridge, was absolutely delightful! The cabin's cleanliness and tasteful decor made it a warm and welcoming retreat. Its close proximity to Dodge Ridge meant more time on the slopes and less commuting hassle. The cabin's interior was well-equipped, from a fully stocked kitchen to a comforting fireplace. Comfortable beds and well-maintained bathrooms added to the overall satisfaction of our stay. The host excellent communication and customer service made our experience stress-free. Whether you're a family or a group of friends, I highly recommend this cabin for a memorable winter vacation. We look forward to returning for another wonderful stay! Thank you very much!

Great getaway.

Exactly as described. Most has already been said by other reviewers. But we did find an added bonus. Down the street we found a small path that loops behind the property that's perfect for snow play and sledding. Also remember there is no service so distant learning from this cabin will not work. Definitely, will come back.

Overall good stay with some caveats

Location excellent. Cleanliness good. Comfortable cabin with two bathrooms and very nice laundry room. Bedding good. Kitchen good with working dishwasher. Owner should definitely consider bringing internet to this cabin. Not having cell phone reception either is a double whammy. For what we pay, we should not have to bring toilet paper and basic toiletries. We did not see a single spider.

With VRBO one expects some basic amenities, e.g trash bags, toilet paper, soap, kitchen towels, coffee, and some basic kitchen supplies. Any how we managed. The weird thing was the tone of the communication with the host. On a simple checkin on where can we find a few of these things, being told do not break into the host cabinets, was extremely rude, unnecessary and unempathatic. These were part of the communication in the checkin instructions which we saw only after we had left for the trip, I think it needs to be part of the listing so renters know what they are booking especially for properties with no cancellation policy. We are not new to renting Airbnbs and VRBO properties, this one was just one of the strangest experience. The property is old but decent and location is indeed very good, but not pleased with the overall experience which could have been different if only for better communication.

Nighmare vacation

I have been to so many rental places and this place by far was the worst. 1-I killed so many big spiders inside the house. 2-They said in the listing verizon phones work, we had 4 verizon phone and none of the worked, not even for sending and receiving text 3-No internet in the house 4-They were claiming TV service is down due to storm from last week and will get fix on 28 while we were there from 19-22, even though they knew before we get there they did not informed us. 5-Super rude property manager, she was telling us so what TV is not working, we should brought bluray disc with us to watch movies. 6-House is overall old and not updated, and so. many closets and cabinets were locked and not accessible. 7-They posted so many unnecessary instructions every where that house feel like a prison. Location is good, just stay away from this house.

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay! The property is a little older but doesn’t take away from it’s beauty. The kitchen appliances work well. The view from the balcony is pretty. It’s very peaceful and quiet. The showers work well. Just allow the water to warm up for 30 seconds to a minute before entering. The living room is very cozy as well and has local TV channels. The only downside is the rooms get really hot even with the fans on. The AC doesn’t work too well. If you need internet access or phone access outside of the (209) area code it won’t work. If these are deal breakers I wouldn’t recommend this location. However, we were perfectly fine without phone and internet access. Makes the trip more peaceful. Overall, great place and would stay again! Thank you for having us!

Good time

After reading reviews on yelp I was nervous about staying at the rental. We took a chance and checked in. I'm glad we did, cabin was clean, easy to park, beds were comfortable, deck was nice (picnic table on patio is a little small and wobbly so I would recommend bringing lawn chairs), showers and bathrooms worked great and were clean. We all had a great time.

Charming Cabin in the woods

We had a great time enjoying the mountains in this charming cabin. Nice peaceful location down in the trees. Great large deck. It had everything we needed except AT&T cell service, but that was actually a good thing!
