The WORST experience on Vrbo
I don’t even know where to start with this property. I usually give pros and cons, but with this listing I cannot.
The Initial booking process is extremely crooked and shady. The company that owns this listing will accept your booking, but then tell you you need to provide more information in order to verify for it. But this is after they accept the booking and they will block your access to the property until they receive this information from you. This information on your Stay, would include your Social Security number, a credit check, your government ID, all of your vehicle information, including the Vin, and your birthday.
After I provided all of this information, they told me that the unit listed on the Vrbo app was not the same unit that customers will receive. You will get a smaller less attractive unit for the same price.. Depending on how last-minute your trip is, this can be a huge setback.
Upon arrival at the actual unit, the check-in instructions provided are either extremely out of date or completely wrong. I spent literally an hour and a half attempting to find the building that housed the rental unit. You cannot speak to anyone at the property, VRBO does not assist at all, the only number you have is a corporate line with employees that will not be able to help or assist you at all.
These issues aside during my three Day stay my vehicle was towed by the owners of the property despite me already giving the host all of my vehicle information.
