I thought it was charming

It’s an older property that seems like it’s in the process of being updated. Even though it’s pet friendly I didn’t find a “pet smell” that sometimes you get. The decor reminded me of my grandmother’s house. It was decorated a little older but it was all well kept/clean.

Almost Good

This is an older property in the process of being renovated. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Down stairs furniture dated as was kitchen. Property outside was not well maintained and garbage can was full and smelly.Location, will convenient, suffers from road noise from Rte. 308. No A/C.Carpeting on stair and in upstairs needs a steam cleaning or removal/replacement.

Seriously neglected home

This place was probably once great, but only the fridge and toilets look up to date. I wouldn't stay here unless all the carpets, furniture, and bedding are deep cleaned or replaced; the kitchen and bathroom floors are replaced; the deck sanded and repainted (or replaced); and the blinds and windows repaired . Despite trying to keep a positive attitude we didn't last one night in this place: it was run down and dirty. I think the cleaning crew had actually done their best, but there is only so much you can do in a few hours after years of neglect. We asked for our money back, and are in the process of being ignored.
Response from VrboOwner on 15 Sept 2024
Hi Nathan. Thank you for your thoughtful review. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment. Our team of housekeepers takes pride in their cleanliness standards, as it is a top priority service we provide for every guest before check-in. Please know that your feedback is essential, and we thank you for calling for local staff to resolve these issues promptly. We hope that the refund that you were given has helped with some resolution of the issue you experienced. We look forward to hosting your next stay!
