One Bedroom Apartment with Separate Bunk Bed Area

Located in the Town of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and less than one mile from UMassMemorial - University Campus, our tastefully designed fully furnished second floor apartment (must be able to climb stairs) combines luxury with comfort and has its own private entrance.

Our apartment has a bright, airy floor plan, gourmet kitchen, modern appliances, hardwood floors, central A/C, and washer/dryer in-unit.

Ideally located just one mile from UMassMemorial - University Campus, and about three miles from downtown Worcester, come feel at home in Shrewsbury!

No car is needed as everything is within walking distance. If you do have a car, not to worry, as we provide complimentary off-street parking. The apartment has easy access, with two double beds within the one bedroom as well as a separate twin bunk bed area for your comfort and relaxation, as well as a Roku TV for your viewing pleasure.

Apartment is exactly as advertised. The owner has made great use of the space. The extra bunk beds were perfect for our family and the tv room gave us a nice place to play games and relax all together. The apartment met all of our needs and we plan to stay again in future visits to the area.

Long Weekend Stay

This apartment was spacious and very comfortable. We paid less than a hotel for 10x the convenience and all the comforts of our own place. The weather turned nasty on checkout day and when we asked to extend our stay on short notice we were accommodated. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice place - peculiar location

The apartment is nice and just as pictured, and we had a comfortable stay. What's not clear from the listing is that it isn't in a residential neighborhood but in the middle of a shopping center. That wasn't really a problem for us, but it was a little surprising.

Quiet and convenient apartment for Worcester business trips

I was traveling solo for 2 days of business in Worcester, so I was looking for a quiet, comfortable and convenient apartment. I found exactly what I was looking for with this roomy and well-equipped property. The location is perfect for short trips downtown and connections to arterials and expressways. What is lacking in neighborhood "ambiance" is offset by the several restaurants, grocery, drug stores (and even a Planet Fitness) within walking distance. Highly recommended for business travelers.

Lovely apartment, minutes to UMass Memorial!

Highly recommend! I stayed here while my husband had surgery/hospitalization at UMass. Check-in was seamless, the place was immaculate, and every need had been anticipated. The apartment is right next to a Trader Joe's, two restaurants, and a wine store. I would suggest that the owner specify that you must turn on the light switch to run the toaster and the washer/dryer, but I figured that out quickly. If we come back to Worcester for follow-up appointments, will stay again, for sure.

One of the BEST

This by far is one of the BEST VRBOs that I've rented! Awesome everything! The check-in process was very simple, the host outlined EVERYTHING, before & during the stay & a notebook provided instructions on literally everything - there isn't anything she did not leave out. The ONLY thing I would say that is it difficult to find, it is upstairs, the stairs are steep, you hear road noise, there weren't any blackout curtains. BUT it was an awesome place to stay & I would go back. Thanks for a great place Mary!

Some suggestions

Property was very nice. I have 2 suggestions going forward. The beds need new mattresses. The current ones are old and saggy. I would also recommend betting a regular tv source. The current service is useless.

We strive earn a five star rating from all our guests by being extremely responsive at a time when we can do something, which is during the time the guest is visiting. We provide Roku with a 40 inch screen tv, and a high definition picture. The Roku experience allows access to hundreds of channels, with a range of entertainment including movies, classic shows, news and sports. It may be possible that someone can be over-whelmed by all these robust features. We are pleased to review the Roku features during your visit. With regard to the mattresses, they were replaced just last year.

It was nice except for one incident.

The place was nice, clean, and conveniently located near a variety of restaurants and stores. However, the one issue that soured our weekend happened on the last day: the door code the host provided suddenly stopped working.When we tried calling the number the host had given us, it turned out to be a business line that surprise, surprise went straight to voicemail. We contacted Vrbo customer service, but even they couldn’t reach the host. It took over an hour for the host to finally respond.When they did unlock the door, they implied the issue was our fault, suggesting we had entered the wrong code. That was frustrating and frankly ridiculous. We triple-checked the code multiple times while we were stuck outside, and we had been using the same code without issue the day before. It’s not like we suddenly forgot how to enter it. Next time, I think we’ll just stay at a hotel.

Thank you for your feedback, however, the factual data belies your stated beliefs. You cite one "incident" on the last night of your stay. You falsely claim you entered the same access code you had been using earlier for the smartlock entry (without incident), and that the smartlock stopped working. That is simply not true, and the smartlock logs prove our case. You further claim you could not reach us. By the smartlock logs, it did not take VRBO over an hour to reach us. Moreover, we leave a business contact number, and since this happened after business hours, we also leave each guest my personal home number (which you never called). You were remotely let in at 8:16 pm, after the smartlock log shows 18 attempts of "Invalid Code Entry" by you. The lock worked fine, you simply forgot the correct code. This is underscored, since the log shows another 8 tries listed as "Invalid Code Entry" after you were let in by us. We then went the extra mile. We called to try to help you and you didn't answer, so we left a voicemail. You later called back, and read you the correct code, and we asked you to try it while we remained on the phone. It instantly worked, and you acknowledged this fact. We mentioned you may have mistakenly been pushing the wrong code, and you became embarrassed, saying that was not possible, and got off the phone. We very much appreciate your business, but reviews are supposed to contain accurate information.
