Our family stayed for five days. Beds were super comfy and we enjoyed the downstairs game room and TV for movie night. Great access to the GTA owner's club for the pools, workout room, and game room. Plus a quick drive to downtown Galena for restaurants, shopping, and historical sightseeing. We loved Galena and would definitely stay here again!

Host was very welcoming and had great communication throughout our stay. House is clean, there is 1 bedroom in the basement with a queen bed. Also, there is a separate gaming room family room full bathroom in the basement, which also happens to be a walkout basement. On the 1st floor there is the kitchen, living room, full bathroom, and primary bedroom. Finally there is a loft bedroom (2nd floor) and a full bathroom. The loft has no door. This townhouse comfortably sleeps 6 people and with the pullout sofa bed in the basement, it could sleep 8 with no problem. Would return to this home again if the opportunity arises.

Very clean , very nice. Everything you need is there, very good location between guest house and spa. Super friendly owners. Very clean and very simple...just what we where looking for. Did i mention very cheap...finally some reasonable prices around Galena. Thank you for letting us stay....

Spacious Get-Away

Enjoyed the three levels and two decks. Quiet, peaceful setting. Beds were comfortable (2 Kings and a Full). Two spacious family gathering areas with large televisions and plenty of seating. The sectional couch was awesome. Lower level even had an arcade area! Check-in and check-out was easy-no complications-great communication with owner!

House needs a little TlC. 2 floor boards not flush to the floor in the dining area. Shower is peeling.No screens on the patio door. The sheets in the main bedroom were stained. I am attaching a photo. On the plus side, the kitchen was nicely done and adequately supplied. We asked for more towels and they were immediately sent over.

A little disappointing

First The good:Location was nice, the property was quiet, the woods were beautiful and the owners were responsive when contacted. Beds were pretty good as well.The disappointing:When we first arrived it was clear that the unit was badly in need of repairs and renovations. Things like a cabinet door hanging off the hinges in the kitchen, a window stuck open, with a broken hinges the wood says literally rotten and disintegrating, the upstairs bathroom door wouldn’t properly close, and the bathtub surround in the main floor bathroom was cracked and peeling. Because the windows are in such bad shape, there are clearly cracks or gaps in the wood in the ones by the kitchen sink that there were always ants on the countertops.Again, we did reach out to the owners and they sent a handyman fairly quickly to fix the cabinet in the kitchen and get the window closed, but overall it was more than a bit disappointing to find the state of the unit as it was. I don’t know how often they actually visit their property, but it needs renovations, something they acknowledged at least about the rotting windows.
