The Log House is approximately 2,600 square feet of comfort and joy.
3 levels; bedroom (queen) and bath on each level for your own space and privacy.
Main Floor: Great room -hardwood floors - vaulted wood ceiling - floor to ceiling boulder fireplace open to a sunny dining room and fully equipped kitchen with center island. Powder room and Master bedroom with whirlpool tub - separate shower.
Upper Level: Bedroom-bath-loft (great space for reading) overlooking the Great Room.
Lower Level: Gathering Room with pool table - TV. Bedroom - bath - laundry room. Patio with outdoor seating. Deck with hot tub kept hot year-round.

What a great place to stay! Close to Galena and other attractions. The home was spotless with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Beds were comfortable and there was extra bedding for sleeping on the couch. Lots of towels, even beach towels for the hot tub. The kitchen was also well stocked with every pot and pan that we needed. So many nice porches and patios to use. The dark sky was perfect for stargazing. I would definitely come here again!

We appreciated the open layout, private woodsy feel, and number of bedrooms & baths. The unique artwork and decor throughout were quite a treat as well (kudos to the artist and collector). Also appreciated were the cleanliness of the hot tub, provided towels for said hot tub, bug spray, coffee bar, and welcome gift. Mike and Stacey know how to host.

Beautiful home for a quick family get away. We love the log cabin feel. Everything was in good working order. Hot tub was clean and ready for us. The boys (ages 7 and 5) were addicted to the Pac-Man game! Most impressed with how helpful and responsive the hosts were.

Weekend stay

Stayed as a quick weekend trip. While we didn't spend much time at the home, it was comfy and inviting after a long day at the lake. Check-in was easy and the place was furnished for anything you need. The host was also very responsive to any questions I had leading up to the stay.

Why they chose this property

Our dream was to own a log cabin in Galena and after staying at this beautiful property for many years, we purchased it in 2021! This well-built property by Robert Johnson Builders and has all the perks of a great vacation home getaway.

What makes this property unique

The Galena Log Cabin is in the Resort Core close to the owner's club (fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool) and just feet away from miles of hiking trails. Also, since it is in the Galena Territory, the Cabin is very close to Eagle Ridge Resort where guests can enjoy golfing, spa, restaurants and sledding in the winter.

The house is whimsically decorated for all to enjoy and comfortable for guests of every age. The open floor plan allows guests to enjoy meals in each other's company, however the bedroom suites provide private space.
