Welcome to the highly-rated "Current View Cottage" in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. This 1950's cottage, adorned with original charm, also offers modern conveniences. As a semi-oceanfront property, it boasts unmatched views of the ocean from the newly constructed deck, complete with hot tub, and from all windows facing the ocean. This makes it a prime vacation rental for those appreciating character, charm, and comfort.

The main level includes living room, dining area, laundry room, and well equipped kitchen with seaglass-style countertops, bar sink, and wine refrigerator. The first floor also features a Master bedroom with a king bed, a wall-mounted TV, two full bathrooms, and a Bunk Room that sleeps four with a Smart TV. The upper level boasts two bedrooms, one king and the other with a queen bed, as well as a half bath. LINENS AND BATH TOWELS ARE PROVIDED for your convenience.

Beat the heat with our ground level outdoor seating area with sofa, table, chairs, picnic table, and outdoor shower with hot and cold water. A utility closet houses beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, bikes, corn hole boards, beach toys, and a large beach cart for easy transportation to the beach.

Extras include: Beverage refrigerator, Keurig, and regular coffee maker, air fryer, coffee grinder, waffle maker, wi-fi throughout house, high chair, pack and play, bed linens, hair dryers in all bathrooms, starter package and few extra special treats for our guests!

I took my family for the first time to OBX. we traveled with my 14 month old granddaughter. The house was everything and more compared to the listing. The house was clean and so very cute witdecoration. But felt just like home. They stock it with all you could want and more. The host was AMAZING. She responded in minutes when we reached out and she provided great recommendations when we asked about food and sites to see. I give it a 5 star rating and would recommend any family looking for a great vacation home to rent!

We brought our baby here for her first beach trip and it was wonderful. There is beach access 1 minute away from the house, so we literally carried her every day, multiple times a day and it was so easy and convenient. Being able to see the beach from the living room was breath taking. We loved staying here and hope to come back again. Thank you so much for giving us such a great experience. We made memories here that we will cherish forever.

We stayed here with our extended family (including two kids), and this property exceeded all our expectations. The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with a cozy coastal feel, and had an incredible layout that gave everyone enough space to relax.The location couldn't be better, just a short, easy walk to the gorgeous beach, which made hauling kids and gear a breeze. We especially loved the outdoor patio area for morning coffee, and the bonus beach chairs, equipment, and toys provided by the host. This place was clean and probably the most organized kitchen I've seen for a beach rental. This place is very kid friendly with more than enough beach toys, plus toys for the house. The host was very responsive and on top of things. The master bedroom wasn’t the most private, but we made it work. The view and walk to the beach was also great.

Cute, obviously old, cottage that has been very well remodeled. A little smaller than expected but cozy and comfortably fit the amount of people as advertised! Very nice location right by the beach. The hot tub and supply shed with beach accessories were nice amenities. The hosts were very informative, generous and quick to respond to messages/questions. The complementary cookie tray was a delicious bonus. Would return in the future!

loved the location. It was an easy drive north to Corolla one day and south to Hatteras another day. This house is in a fairly busy part of the outer banks. Although beach itself was not busy at all! Loved our stay and exploring this coast. Hosts were great, house was great! Our week was fairly chilly so we loved having the hot tub!?

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time in this home. The fully stocked kitchen made everything so easy, and we appreciated having access to the bikes and beach chairs. The hot tub was a great bonus after long days out. The layout of the house was perfect for privacy, and we loved the charm and character of the unique older home. The cottage was everything we hoped for and more for our family vacation. It was very clean, the kitchen was more than adequately stocked. The cottage is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Amazing home in amazing location. Full of ocean views and less than a 1 minute walk to relaxing on the beach.We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub on the huge front deck. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time with our two families of four. They had all the beach equipment you would ever need... and toys, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, skim boards, and a wagon to haul it all right across the street. Communication with David and Kerry was quick and easy! Can't wait to visit again.

We’ve stayed at this beach house several times now (I think this was our third or fourth visit), and it continues to be one of our favorite places to stay. Every time we come back, it feels just as special.The owners are always incredibly responsive, kind, and easy to work with, which makes the entire experience smooth from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the property.The view is absolutely amazing—one of the best parts of staying here. It never gets old, no matter how many times we visit.This trip, we also noticed some updates to the decor and furniture, including larger beds, which were such a nice bonus and made the stay even more comfortable.We truly love this place and will absolutely be back again!

We had a very nice stay at the cottage. The house had plenty of beach cottage charm and came with useful house goodies. It felt clean, had all we needed (dishes, glasses, board games, sand toys) and everyone said the beds slept comfortably. Hot tub kept the kids plenty busy as we landed on a cold, windy spring break week. We were hopeful for a grill but using the park style charcoal grill would have been impossible with the wind. The sleeping setup was perfect for our family as the bunks can be joined with another room and all the adults were upstairs. With that windy week we got to relax with coffee and the house has good views of the ocean that made us very happy. We would definitely return to this house and all had a great visit.

I highly recommend Current View Cottage. Beautiful location with water views. The cottage was comfortable, clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the cookware/bakeware/appliances that you could need. The hosts were so kind and always timely with responding to messages. My family and I couldn't be more satisfied with this lovely home!!
