"New Rebel Station" is a lovingly renovated barn/home with a comfortable interior curated with an eye for the artist and the nature lover.
The main house (barn) has two bedrooms downstairs, each with a double bed, upstairs, a spacious loft suite with a queen bed. There are two living spaces to spread out in and a balcony from which to watch the sun set. There's a cosy wood stove and a fire-pit for outdoor bonfires and s'mores. The kitchens is fully stocked - if you like to cook you should have everything you need to prepare meals - also, a gas grill on the patio.
A second cottage on the property has two connected rooms - one with a queen and small living area, and the other with a twin bed (no bathroom, but just a stone's throw from the main house).
One of the biggest charms here is the property - including a GORGEOUS, very private swimming pond, with dock and Adirondack chairs. Pond is weed free, very healthy and a dream for a dip, laps or just a long float on a fleet of inner tubes, stored in the shed.
Wifi is strong and reliable.
Smart TV available for movies and streaming.
We are located in a beautiful rural setting midway between two amazing river towns - Callicoon and Narrowsburg, which have great restaurants, galleries, shopping - even a vintage movie theater! Bethel Woods Center for the Art (home to the Woodstock Music Festival) has great concerts in the summer, and we're just a ten minute drive away.
The area is truly scenic; the Delaware River Valley is stunning, and there are plenty of places to rent kayaks and canoes, or go tubing. Bald Eagles abound!

Adorable converted barn that is super cozy with so much character! It has three places to sleep (including spacious loft) and large kitchen and small sitting area. Tons of outdoor space for our dog to run around and the pond is beautiful and perfect for swimming. The entire area is magical/ super friendly and lots of access to hikes, river and charming towns

Love the photos, Kelley! Please come back and see us again :)
Loved sipping our morning coffee as we watched the wildlife outside the window. Several deer and many birds. The property is lovely. The house is comfortable, with interesting decor in every room.
We loved our stay here. The house was a really cool repurposed barn and the property was gorgeous. We loved swimming in the pond. Amy was such a generous and communicative host. There were fun activities in the surrounding area as well.
We absolutely adored this home. It is soooo charming and has many timeless details. From the bedrooms to the open barn space with multiple levels ... and the kitchen/living area, it's just a fun and interesting property that might be exactly what you are looking for in a house upstate ... really it's the perfect getaway from NYC or any busy area. If you have a dog even better ... our pooch loved running around the woods and pond. The location is outstanding too, just minutes away from great restaurants in Narrowsburg (strongly recommend The Heron), Cochecton (Don't miss the Fire Station for bite and beverages), and Callicoon (Black Walnut is FIRE).

Rolan, so appreciate your kind words! We look forward to hosting you again. Every season has something wonderful to offer for humans and pooches alike!
We loved our stay here. The pond was amazing, the water was so clean and there were lots of tubes to float with. The barn was really breezy even though it was super hot out so it was comfortable. The kitchen was great to cook in and well stocked for pots, pans, utensils, etc. The host was easily reached and very communicative but we had tons of privacy. The layout is hard to read in pictures due to the multiple levels in the loft, but it was spacious and comfortable enough for our group of 8. We also loved seeing the hummingbirds!!

Thank you, Victoria, your group was a pleasure to host! I'm so grateful at how spic and span you left the place, too. Come back any time!
Charming, cozy and delightfully decorated. We absolutely loved our time at New rebel station. The converted barn was the most perfect spot for our stay. Perfectly appointed with everything you could possibly need. Celebrated a birthday with family and friends, saw a show in Bethel and did a little exploring. So much more to do in the area. I would definitely recommend a stay with Amy at New rebel station. Can’t say enough about our super accommodating host and how easy she made everything. Thanks Amy hope to visit again soon.
Very cool house(barn) with beautiful art. Lovely backyard and pond. All the kitchen amenities you could want. Slept in the loft because two people in a double bed is very uncomfortable. Weather was cooler so with no air conditioning it was not a problem. Got chilly in the loft but once under the quilt it was cozy. Could have used a dresser because we were there a week.Amy was very responsive. Close to Bethal Woods where we saw Bonnie Raitt. Over all a lovely week.
I have so many positive things to say about my stay and I’d like to start with Amy, the host. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a warm, attentive, and communicative host in my 10+ years of using vacation rentals. She went above and beyond and left us a hand written welcome note, fresh produce from the farm across the road, and a fully fleshed out guide to use as a reference for the house and the surrounding area. Thank you Amy!
Now the house itself - even more beautiful and well decorated in person. The beds were comfy, there were fresh towels, and the house was plenty roomy for us to spend a mostly rainy weekend in. The forest and pond behind the house were perfect to explore and get some fresh air.
Overall, this was a fantastic getaway and I highly recommend you book this house!

Why they chose this property
The scene here on New Tunrpike Road is truly lovely. Its very rural and pastoral, with just enough neighbors to feel connected but not crowded. The area was once one big farm and we all live in various dwellings - houses, barns, etc that were part of the property. My neighbors form an amazing blend of artists, farmers, landscapers, locals and transplants, Across from me is my friend Jeff's incredible plant nursery - Wild Yarrow Farm, a must visit for any serious gardener. There are beautiful fields and plenty of woods to shelter wildlife - we have a lot of animal company - mostly deer and birds, but also foxes, rabbits, raccoon, eagles, herons, and occassionally a bear (not yet this year!) Its very harmonious - across the street from me is an amazing plant nursery, and
What makes this property unique
Its magic :). I knew it the minute I stepped out of my car they day I came to see the house for the first time. Incredibly good energy here. The barn is full of surprise spaces, is totally unique in side, a bit like an Escher drawing, with many levels. And the Pond! The pond is gorgeous, and probably the most beautiful part of the property. Very serene, and lovely to swim in.
