Come and enjoy this beautiful house in the small and peaceful boutique neighborhood “Heron’s Watch” in West Bradenton, only 3 miles from the famous beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.

Villa Sandpiper offers many lovely details. The overall decor is beachy with European touches in calm colors, and home owners continue to update the home.

Relax in the bright and airy living/dining area with its high ceilings and watch TV on the 55” screen with sound bar. Free long-distance phone (within the US and Canada) and 500 Mbps Internet WiFi keep you connected to those who had to stay at home.

Sip a drink on the screened-in patio and have a barbecue by the gorgeous heated pool (fully caged).

After a good night’s sleep in the king size bed step out of the master suite through sliding doors onto the patio/pool area. The large en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower was remodeled and offers a double sink and tub, and together with a walk-in closet makes this bedroom a luxurious retreat.

The second bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and wall closet, the third features two twins in XL size (an additional 5” as compared to normal twin beds) in which adults will also feel very comfortable.

All mattresses are of superior quality, back supporting and with natural, breathable bamboo fiber.

The second bathroom has a bathtub/shower combination, vanity and wall closet.

All towels are of high quality from Pottery Barn and if you need to wash/dry them, use the fully equipped laundry room. (washer, dryer)

The kitchen is very well equipped with granite countertops and the stainless steel appliances are of high quality.

The garage offers space for one car inside, more parking for up to 2 cars is available on the driveway in front of the home. Also available are some pool toys by the outside pool bench, more as well as beach chairs inside the garage.

Shopping for groceries is an easy task, as you will find several big stores nearby. You don’t want to cook dinner? Many of your favorite cuisine restaurants are only a very short drive away. Finally, Sandpiper's location is also ideal for all golfers and athletes alike, as IMG Academy and multiple golf courses are nearby!

Great home and location for us

The house was immaculate and the floor plan was perfect for us (3 adults). We appreciated that there were TV's in the bedrooms. The pool was clean and well maintained, though it was too cold to use during our visit. We loved the location because it was very near shopping and we could run out for basics without worrying about traffic.

Villa Sandpiper does not disappoint!

We were so pleased with the property and the area in general. The house was tastefully decorated and furnished with everything you could possibly need and it's just a short, pleasant drive to Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key and Sarasota. I highly recommend Villa Sandpioer and hope to visit again!

Cortez Beach Oasis

The property is in a quiet safe neighborhood and is a 10 minute drive to the beach. Perfect for families. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The house is well stocked with amenities and beautifully decorated. The cleanest rental we have stayed in so far, you will not be disappointed. Treat yourself and family.

Everything was very nice. Only complaint was that it was rarely, if ever, under 60 degrees outside over the three weeks we stayed, yet the pool heater was never on.

Great house.

A great house and the photos are very accurate. The kitchen has everything you might need and more ! Very comfortable beds and lots of pool and beach toys. The house is in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood and very close to Anna Maria Island. The staff at Island Dreams Realty were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, perfect house size

It was amazing two weeks our kids loved the house, lots of beach toys and pool toys. We would definitely come back. On arrival it was spotless we were only missing a pack and play and management arranged it in no time!!! We would definitely recommend for family with small kids.

Beautiful Property

Beautiful property on a small lot. Good points are the heated pool, the location, everything was clean and worked. Bad points were limited lighting in the family room; the TV has several services available but no ESPN, History, HGTV, or broadcast channels (really bad for a sports fan); and there was no garage door opener. All-in-all a great vacation property that could be even better with a few additions (TV service and garage opener).

Beautiful home quiet neighborhood

This is a beautiful home, pool area is also beautiful and pretty private. Kitchen is well stocked. There is a gas grill outside to use, we didn’t use it but it was nice that it was there. There are beach chairs and beach toys in the garage to use. On the Negative side, bed pillows uncomfortable, guest bedroom mattress uncomfortable ( rock hard) , and guest bathroom shower was narrow and did not have good water flow. And you have to wash all the towels and put them up before you leave.

Firmness of beds is unfortunately a personal preference and no beds are super firm or super soft, with the intention of making them as comfortable as possible for most all guests. We provide guests with lots of towels, especially pool/ beach towels and ask that the latter is washed and dried prior to departure, cleaners take care of all else.

Excellent home!

This home is exactly like the pictures. Everything was beautiful and clean. We stayed there for the month of March. The house is conveniently located closes to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. It is easily accessible to major highways for traveling. Also, the beaches are simply beautiful. The sand is pure white and clean. There is 3 mile walking path next to beach. The only down side to the location of the house is that there is a short street you need to take to get to the house which has a few duplexes that are run down. Other than that I highly recommend this rental!!

For future travelers, we would like to point out that the mentioned street with duplexes truly is on the way to the home, but not within the deed restricted neighborhood of Heron's Watch, where our Villa Sandpiper is located. All single family homes in Heron's Watch are very well taken care of and comparable in curb appeal to Villa Sandpiper.

Very nice house.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. I always look for certain things when searching for a house and this one met our criteria. So, if you are like me and do this also… 1. Cleanliness ✔️ 2. Plenty of space ✔️ 3. Nice showers (weird I know, but I like a good shower lol) ✔️ 4. Decent size pool ✔️ (a must with 4 kids lol) 5. Beach stuff ✔️ (this is another must for us because we fly in. So, if there is not any beach supplies I move on to the next house. Would have been helpful to have had a beach buggy to carry everything, but I was just grateful for what we did have). Overall, the house (for us) was so cozy and nice. We really enjoyed that we were so close to the island, stores, and surrounding areas. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood, comfy and clean

We stayed a week with 2 adults and 3 kids (13, 11, 8). Very cute, clean, roomy. Good communication before arrival (no need for anything while we stayed). Comfy beds! The pool was amazing and always the perfect temp for the humid 90 degree days. We used it daily. We really appreciated the many sand toys and pool noodles. We were at the beach nearly every day, and the kids loved the toys. Anna Maria Island was about a 7 minute drive and there was always somewhere to park, especially Cortez and Coquina beaches. The little welcome package was nice. There was dish soap, a paper towel, a few pods of laundry detergent, roll of toilet paper. There was just one tiny travel size bar of soap for the whole house, so we did need to buy hand soap for bathrooms. Which was fine. Just an FYI to future guests. If you’re a TV watcher, like we are in the evenings, the Roku only had Disney and a few other lesser known apps, and no way to add other ones (like Prime Video) without a pin. We didn’t try and ask for the pin as we did bring our own Roku along. Just another FYI. A good amount of extra blankets, sheets. Good amount of towels. There was brooms, mops, vacuum. Didn’t find any cleaning sprays. Overall an excellent stay! Would stay again!

10/10 Beach Getaway

This house was the perfect beach getaway ideally situated 3 miles from Anna Maria Island.The small neighborhood was well kept with manicured lawns & kind neighbors walking their dogs. The nearby restaurants were delicious with extra praise to Five Nine Grill & Tavern. Staff & food were 5 stars. The house was decorated in a subtle beach vibe, immaculate & well-appointed with every kitchen gadget you could ever need. The main bedroom was perfectly sized with a comfy mattress & ample ensuite. The house is equipped with door alarms for those that may have little ones heading in the direction of the pool. These can be turned off according to your preference. The pool was lovely & clean. Plenty of seating & a dining area to eat alfresco after a day of relaxing. The two other bedrooms were comfortable, but somehow our 2 children ended up in the same room. The property managers, Island Dream Realty, were friendly & responsive. Even at 3am when a sprinkler head spontaneously erupted outside the main bedroom window. Thinking it was a heavy rainstorm in a sleepy stupor, I finally realized the issue & called Island Dream to notify them. Minutes later, they returned my call & instructed me to shut off the sprinkler system. The landscapers arrived the following morning & made the repairs. I would want the same responsiveness if it were my home not only due to the water loss, but for the prompt repair. Highly recommend this property & Island Dream.

Listing is just as described, 10/10, and our only slight disappointment is we didn’t love the area surrounding (no sidewalks outside neighborhood for walking, some questionable establishments nearby, and not a ton of high quality food places within 10 minutes). But if you know what to expect in that area, then it’s fine, and the small neighborhood itself is nice.

The home is located in a small neighborhood with approx. 30 homes and offers a beautiful quarter mile stroll on sidewalks. For longer walks, especially with children, we recommend visiting Robinson Preserve or Desoto National Memorial, both approx 10 minutes away by car. There are lots of great choices for restaurants within just 5 minutes drive time. Bonefish, Kiku Sushi, Firstwatch, Sage Biscuit, Swordfish Grill and Tide Tables to start. More options are available on Anna Maria Island just 5 minutes away too. For upscale dining approx 10-15 minutes away, we suggest Shore, The Chateau Anna Maria and EnRich. We would have happily made recommendations, had we known that you were looking for suggestions.

Schönes Haus in Top-Lage zu Traumstränden

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt - die Traumstrände von Anna Maria Island und Longboat Key sind alle in max. 20 Autominuten erreichbar. Das Haus ist tip-top sauber und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Vermieter/Agentur jederzeit erreichbar und ansprechbar - haben uns immer sofort weitergeholfen - Klasse ! „Mini-Haken“ - Betten ungewöhnlich hart und nicht bequem , sowohl im Master, als auch im 2nd Bedroom - deshalb hier nur 4 Sterne. Alles andere Super ! Wir empfehlen das Haus und die Agentur gerne weiter.
