This newly updated 2BR/2BA corner unit features floor-to-ceiling windows across the entire front and side of the living room! Home-cooked meals are a breeze to whip up in the gourmet, fully equipped kitchen.
The Gulfstream Condos provide direct beach access and amazing coastal sunrises. Amenities include a seasonally heated pool, a hot tub, and convenient gas grilling areas.
Located just north of the Padre Island Seawall, our Gulf-front condominium is only minutes from local eateries, fishing spots, and the fun things to fill your day!

4th of July weekend stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming here for over 20 years. We enjoy the proximity to the beach and the views from the gulf front condos. The condos are all very similar and the one we stayed in was very nice and some of our group said they want it next year. The staff in the office were professional and very nice and helpful. It was obvious that efforts have been made to upgrade the poolside chairs and tables. I would have given 5 stars but the elevator nearest our room quit working making it near impossible for me to leave the room to visit other family who were also staying there since I have arthritis and cannot manage stairs easily, and walking to the elevator on the other side of the building was too painful. I understand that the elevators are old and get overheated from the use, especially with people leaving on a Sunday, and it's not just the 4th of July weekend that it happens. There are relatively few condos available on the first floor so we were fortunate to rent one on the second floor, and it suited our needs. I really hope they can fix the elevators so they don't break down every year. Other than that issue, it's overall the best place to stay in my opinion and we will continue to go there every year.

Spectacular views

We loved being just steps away from the beach, but the best part was the corner location with amazing views of the gulf from almost every room. The bed was comfy, the bathrooms were clean with a deep tub in one and shower in the other. The kitchen had everything you need and generous counter and cabinet space. Bar height patio chairs would be nice on the balcony - other than that it was perfect.

Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd straight summer vacation stay in 218. 2 couples stayed in this unit, & we hosted nightly dinners for the rest of the family. Love the oversized balcony & really appreciate the new addition of the balcony tall chairs/ tables!! This unit needs a shade or blinds on the balcony door for privacy & would help with AC bills. AC works great, & love all the fans. A larger dining table would be nice. (216 has a very nice expanding one). Lovely decor throughout. The maids had not cleaned underneath the bed in ocean room - (we found 10 solo cups)-but clean overall! Already booked next summer’s stay! See you then~

Fantastic facility with pool, hot tub, board walk and walking distance to clean quiet beach. We always get gulf view and it never disappoints. Desk staff, maintenance and housekeeping make you feel like family. Always professional. Can’t say enough about it. New restaurant for us was Captains Diner, just down the road from the condo it was great fresh seafood. Other restaurants are oyster bar downtown corpus and closer to the condo is Doc’s, both fresh seafood and great service.

Since the dining table was tiny (could use a larger table in the unit), the kiddos ate out on the balcony. We have been coming to the Gulfstream since it was built, and it is our happy place. The king bed in this unit was a bit lumpy, probably a product of rental property, but we were so dog tired from all the beach fun, we fell fast asleep! The front desk staff and manager are absolutely wonderful and very helpful to us on many occasions. This unit could use more coffee mugs, but we borrowed, and also could use more basic kitchen utensils and bowls, but, we made do and also borrowed! All in all, a wonderful stay at our happy place :)
