The home is not only right on the lake it is literally located on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail with wineries and The Finger Lakes Distillery within 2-5 minutes of the house
The Lake House is a spacious, airy 2500 square foot lake front home with an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows overlooking the lake. The home has two separate living areas which could easily accommodate a large group or family and still allow a sense of privacy with a total of four bedrooms which can comfortably sleep 6-8. The hot tub boasts incredible lake views and can be accessed easily from both levels of the house. It is the perfect place to end the day with a glass of wine or local microbrew. A flight of stairs leads to a large double deck dock. The upper level of the dock is an excellent space for soaking up the sun or enjoying a cocktail. The lower dock has a great area for swimming.
The space flows beautifully from outdoors to indoors and the many large windows and sliding glass doors allow a sense of connection with the outdoors even when you are inside. The lake remains the central focus throughout the home and can be viewed from almost every room. You can sense the calm, relaxed atmosphere of the lake as soon as you enter the home. The main level of the home also includes two bedrooms, a small over flow room and a full bath. The master bedroom has a sliding glass door which leads to the deck. Nearby activities include boat or kayak rental, hiking, fishing, sailing and water skiing. In addition the area has many beautiful waterfalls. The area hosts many festivals and typically there is something going on every weekend. The home is also 25 miles from Corning where the Corning Museum of Glass and Rockwell Museums are located and 22 miles from Ithaca.
